What to say, what to say? I say this is going to be a good series. If you like sexy vampires and sassy witches this will be the beginning of a great read for you. The series itself will be released in volumes. I am reviewing the first 3 chapters of Volume 1, “A Vampire’s Kiss”. It’s easy to see how hot and heavy Dray and Sara are headed for. The first three chapters give a tease of the story and introduces our main characters.

First, an update. I’d like to announce my agent and I have parted on friendly terms. He’s a great guy. Really. And he wants only the best for me. But he’s also verrrrrry busy. Too busy to give my career the time and attention an agent should for one of his authors.

That means at this moment I’m agent-less and LOVING it! I’ve become the living version of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Freebird.” Yeah, I’m free as a bird, and this slutty bird ain’t gonna change.

Besides, Kittyfeather Press is publishing my books again and doing a great job marketing and publicizing the new vamp series, so I really don’t need an agent right now. I’ve got two publishers, Kittyfeather Press and Magicomm Media. Plus, I’m slammed with book contracts through the next 5 years (which I had before I hooked up with my agent last summer).

I was talking to my agent last week, and he thought I should change the subject of my blog posts. No, I’m not kidding.

“For the last six months you’ve mostly blogged about your sex life, your relationship with Wes, irritating Alphas, sex toys, and sex stuff,” he says. “Maybe your readers are tired of hearing about sex? Maybe your sex posts are driving people away and hurting your book sales?”

“Huh?” I respond. “Have you read my blog posts from 2008?”

“Of course not!” he exclaims. “Like when do I have the time?”

Sorry I haven’t been posting and chatting as much as I usually do at Facebook, Twitter, and Goodreads. But I’ve been totally slammed for the last week, working out the millions of details involved in launching The Manigault Vampires serial.

In fact Kittyfeather Press publishing the vamp series in ebook marks a MAJOR turning point in my career. Yeah, this slut is finally positioned to take off and zoom into the stratosphere.

Awesome news, isn’t it? And it’s about time, too!

First, I want to thank all of you who’ve stayed with me faithfully through the last year of my insane career. Why? Because it’s been 16 verrrrrrry long months since my last erotic romance, Call of the Witches, was published.

Trust me. I never in a million years planned for that to happen. But Forbidden Publications (who bought my Rune Witch Series) was supposed to publish that ebook novella trilogy in the Spring/Summer of 2009. And Trytium Publishing was set to publish A Vampire’s Kiss in the fall of 2009.

Instead Forbidden went out of business in March, shocking many of its authors, including me. That meant I had to stop working on the vamp novel to find a new publisher for the The Rune Witch Series.

Since everyone knows me as an erotica novelist and a shameless slut, it’s easy to forget I’m also a Wiccan Witch, empath, and psychic. That means I’m a deeply spiritual, woo-woo kinda person. No doubt about it. LOL

So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that I do tarot card readings. In fact, I don’t make a move in my career without consulting the tarot first. Why? Because the tarot is never wrong.

Never.

My trip to Boston last fall was a good example. I needed to go up in September to shoot a series of videos with my agent. And I wanted to go before it got too cold in New England. As you know, this Southern Belle does NOT like cold weather. Horrors!

I’m sure by now many of you have seen me hinting about this, so here are the juicy details.

When I had lunch at the mall last Tuesday with my friend Amanda she said she couldn’t believe Wes hadn’t noticed I haven’t been wearing my wedding ring for almost two weeks now. That was the first time he fucked up. The Thursday before Valentine’s Day when he complained for the third time that week about having to give me a Valentine’s Day gift.

What?

I mean, we’re only talking about a $50 bookstore gift card, ya know? Well, the the third time he complained I blew and told him I was tired of his negative attitude about EVERYTHING. Then I declared our marriage open, so he could go out and find a woman he liked enough to give her a V-day gift without bitching constantly about it.

First, an announcement. If you’re not on my email list (and why aren’t you? *LOL) and you come to this blog every week to read my blog posts, then I’m sure you were surprised when I didn’t post on Monday.

That’s because I mentioned in the February issue of my newsletter last week that I’m making a change on my blog. I’ve been working 7 days a week until 2:00am every morning on “A Vampire’s Kiss.” It’s coming along beautifully. But after keeping this schedule for 2 months I’m having a hard time knowing what day it is. They’re all the same now and kinda blending together. So I made a decision last week. I’m deep in the novel at this point, which means my brain cells are not always happy about switching gears. I’ve decided instead of posting on my blog every Monday/Wednesday/Friday, I’m just going to post on Tuesday and Thursday of each week. That will give me an extra day to work on the novel and should help me finish it on time. But don’t worry. The people on my email list will still get email notifications from me on Tuesday and Thursday when the blog posts go up. There will just be two every week now instead of three.

Okay, back to the subject of this blog post. I was talking to my agent last week, and I mentioned Wes had been complaining about how expensive it is to have good sex after 50.

Thursday night Wes surprised me by walking into my office. Yes, that’s unusual. Wes is the kinda guy who can’t wait to get off computer so he can dash downstairs, get something to eat for dessert (like yogurt or nuts), and park his ass in his reclining chair to watch sports on TV.

Imagine my surprise when he walked back upstairs and appeared in my office at 9:00pm.

“Look what the yogurt did to me.” He flips down the front of his sweatpants, and his hard dick pops out.
