Blaine’s Sexy Walk

I mention this because in that novel my readers will meet a new, totally yummy Witch named Blaine Rutledge. He appears in Chapter 3. Blaine is a very erotic, skilled lover, and he has an unusual walk that some readers have been asking about after they’ve read that chapter on the blog. So, where did I get Blaine’s sexy walk? That’s a good story. Before I say anything else you should know I’m a guy-watcher. Yup, I love to ogle good-looking men, and I think all romance and erotica novelists are like that. Research, right? Yeah, love it! *naughty grin*
Now, about Blaine. In April I was walking through Dillard’s department store on my way out of the mall. I had been there to talk with Waldenbooks about the booksigning I was doing in May for my PNR novels. Since I’m always on the lookout for yummy guys I certainly noticed the one who passed me in the middle of the store, even though he wasn’t the kind of guy I usually ogle. He had just come into Dillard’s from the parking lot. You know me. I prefer long hair, lean bodies, and denim. This man was too conservative, a businessman wearing a dress shirt, tie, and dress slacks. His hair was short, but he was tall and had a lean, yummy body. However he looked good enough to make me stop, turn around, and check out the view from behind. And that’s when I saw it. His walk. He had the most sensuous, rolling rhythm to his hips I have ever seen on a man. My first thought was: Dear Goddess, bless the lucky woman who ends up under that guy in bed!! So what did I do? I followed him like a puppy on a leash. I kid you not. Research, remember? After I trailed him back into the store and had thoroughly studied his hips and butt, I dashed back to my office and wrote it all down, giving that delicious, sexy walk to Blaine.
Later, when I told my single neighbor about him she said he was probably gay. No, I’ve been in the arts my entire adult life (first as an artist and now as a novelist), and I have many wonderful and dear gay friends. So I’ve had years to develop excellent gaydar, and that guy at the mall was as straight as an arrow. Yowza! I’m having to fan myself right now just thinking about the way he walked.
Okay, back to business. Kinda. I got lots of writing done yesterday. Wynn and Noelle are out of the hot tub and on the beach now. Chapter 2 of this erotica novella (Bewitched at the Beach) features sex in the ocean with Wynn. Yummy!
Yeah, it’s getting hot in here (fanning myself). The life of an erotica novelist, right? Love it. *wicked smile*

Yeah, I’ve never seen anything so sexy in my life. I don’t even think he was conscious of doing it. Yowza! Makes my mouth water just thinking about it (wicked grin). Well, I’m still in the ocean with Wynn. Gotta get back there. See ya!
