Call of the Witches: Book Three of the Witchery Series

Here it is….the cover of Call of the Witches.  Awesome, isn’t it?!!  Saturday morning, before I jumped in the shower to get ready for the booksigning, I okayed the last proof for this third and final novel in The Witchery Series trilogy.  I’m so pleased with how this novel turned out!  It is gorgeous.  Truly a thing of beauty inside and out, thanks to my talented publisher/editor, Dave.  Call of the Witches will hit bookstores (local and online) in a little over two weeks.  So get ready.  It’ll be here before you know it!!

And if you haven’t read the first three chapters yet, go to http://www.CalloftheWitches.blogspot.comYou’ll love this scorching hot, paranormal romance novel.  I guarantee it!

Now let’s talk about my hair.  Seriously.  Some of you have asked about my hair in the pic I posted on Monday ("We Had a BLAST!!!").  So here are the answers to those questions.

1.) No, I have not colored my hair and gone blonde.  Don’t worry.  I still have brown hair with a touch of gray just like the author pic I use in my books and in all the posts on this blog.  Here’s why my hair looks blonde in that pic.  Columbiana Mall is a very pretty, light, white mall with tons of huge skylights.  It was a bright sunny day when that pic was taken, so the sun was pouring through the entrance to the bookstore and kinda bleached out the hair color of all three of us in that pic.  But, hey, if I ever wanted to know what I’d look like as a blonde, I do now, right?  Cool!

2.) Yes, I do have bangs.  I did a wild and crazy thing shortly after that author pic was taken.  I decided to give myself bangs.  And I like them, so I’m keeping them for now.  I’ll get another author pic taken in 2009 when the first novel in my new PNR vampires series comes out, A Vampire’s Kiss: Book One of the Manigault Vampires.  That pic will have bangs (unless I do something wild and crazy with my hair before then…ya never know with me, right? LOL).  But my hair is still just as long as it is in my current author pic.  I only trim my hair every two months so it won’t get stuck in my elbows (really, I’m not kidding).  I mean, it’s kinda embarrassing to pull your own hair, ya know?  *big smile*

I also wanted to announce I’ll be doing a blog chat on this blog next week.  I’m still working out the details, so I’ll let you know more on Friday.  However, everyone who reads this blog will be able to participate.  Looks like the tweaking I did on my LJ account worked, and everyone who reads this blog can comment on my posts now, whether you are a member of LJ or not.  Yay!  Just keep this in mind….if you’re not a member of LJ your comment will show up without your name, so you’ll need to put your name at the end of your comment.  That way I’ll know who you are.

Okay, that’s it for now.  Tomorrow I’ll have another hysterically naughty post for you.  You’ll love it!  No, really, you will.  *wicked grin*

xoxo

    Your Book Cover

Laura, the cover is beautiful! Of course you know I love all your artwork, but there’s just something about all the colors…:)

    Auntee (big wave!)–
It is sooooo wonderful to see you here at last!! I’m thrilled you like the cover. The colors are really girly, aren’t they? I wanted this series to be very feminine and sexy.

BTW, I just answered your PMs at GR.

Much love to you!! Don’t be a stranger here at LJ now that you can comment. You know how I LOVE hearing from you! *big smile*

You crack me up! Thanks for the clarification. After your first comment you had me looking at the cover, thinking “huh?”

I guess you can tell the fourth chapter is a smoking hot sex scene. I threw lots of hints about that in Chapter 3. I must say I love hints (wicked grin).

Yeah, let’s hit those “parts” other books don’t. I’m all for that. In fact, let’s “touch” on them again and again. And after touching we could do some licking and…..oops! Getting carried away here. *naughty grin*
