Erotic Nirvana
Yesterday, I stopped by Waldenbooks at Columbiana Center and finalized my next two booksignings. The first will be on Saturday, September 6, from 1:00 – 4:00 pm, like I mentioned in my blog post yesterday. The next booksigning is also on a Saturday, October 4, same time, same place. If I’m lucky, Book Three in my Witchery trilogy, Call of the Witches, will be available at the booksigning in September. I’ve listed both signings on my profile at Goodreads for those who would like to add them to their events list. G.L. Giles, the Gothy vampire novelist from Charleston, will be signing with me again. And you know what that means? We’re going to have a blast! Another girl-party for sure. Big fun!
I tackled most of the mountain of emails that came in from the booksigning last Saturday, so I hope to get back to Bewitched at the Beach today and edit more of Chapter One. Yeah, I’m hopping back in the hot tub with Wynn, and looking forward to it (naughtygrin). Also, I received an email from my editor yesterday. Looks like he’s ready to take the plunge into Call of the Witches. No pun intended, although what is it with me and water sex scenes these days? *shakes my head*
Speaking of sex, I ran into my husband when I was leaving to run my errands yesterday morning. He saw the Journey CD in my hand, and the smile on his face was priceless. I told him I had blogged about it, and his smile grew even larger, knowing what he had set me up for. Stinker! And he was right. Steve Perry’s voice is to me what chocolate is to a chocoholic. Chocoholics never allow themselves to eat chocolate all day long, right? That kind of nirvana is hard to take physically. Well, I have never allowed myself to listen to an entire album of Journey songs. Seriously. I know better and only listen to 2-3 Journey songs at a time. But yesterday morning I listened to 9 songs in a row before I finished all my errands, and I gotta tell you Steve Perry strummed my G-spot into a state of erotic nirvana. I’m amazed I survived it. And I plan to do it every morning for the rest of the summer. Dear Goddess, I’m sooooooo easy!!!
