Finished the Cover Painting for “Call of the Witches”

It’s finished!!!  And it’s verrrry pretty, so I’m a happy woman.  Yup, I finished the painting for the cover of Call of the Witches yesterday.  Now I’ll let it dry for a day or so, then make copies, and send it to my publisher on Friday.

The week after I finish a novel and turn it over to my publisher is usually filled with the “afterbirth” of the novel (that’s what I call it).  Designing the front and back cover, and all the other odds and ends that go with the finishing of a big novel.

Now I can start writing again.  What’s next on that agenda?  The second novella in my erotica ebook series (A Rune Witch).  This is the spin-off series featuring Wynn and Noelle (some of my fav characters from my Witchery series novels, which is my primary series where all the spin-offs come from).  The first novella in that series is Sex Magick.  The second novella will be called Bewitched at the Beach, and if all goes well I’ll start writing it this afternoon.  Oh, yeah.  Lots of hot, steamy sex with Wynn at the beach.  YUMMY!  I’m ready.  *naughty smile*

Still reading Demon’s Fire by Emma Holly and LOVING it.  This has always been one of my fav erotica novels, but it may just be my all-time fav novel of any genre.  Holly’s sentences are true delight for a writer to read.  Seriously.  No wonder she is considered by many to be the Queen of Contemporary Erotica.  IMO she more than deserves that title.
