Sexy Witches….Oh, my!

There are several major themes woven throughout the plots and subplots of my The Witchery Series novels. But I suppose the main theme would be Witchery. One of the things I wanted to accomplish with this series was to show readers what contemporary Witches are really like in 2008. No, we aren’t evil, dangerous people. Those are just myths. And untrue ones at that.

Most of the Witches in my novels are Wiccans. Not all Witches are Wiccans, but all Wiccans are Witches. Wicca is just one of many Pagan faiths. What is Wicca? In its simplest form it is a peaceful, loving, mostly feminist, nature religion. Wiccans are deeply spiritual people who live their faith 24/7 by incorporating it into their daily lives. This isn’t Harry Potter make-believe stuff. Nope. In all of my PNR and erotica series you’ll find the real thing, the kinds of spells, chants, and rituals real Witches and Pagans use to fill their lives with positive energy every minute of the day.

Because most Wiccans are nature-oriented and rather feminist, they also tend to be very sexual people (gee, what a surprise! *grin*). I’m a Wiccan Faery Witch, meaning I spend my days in the company of the Fey, who are also incredibly sensual beings. Okay, now you know why I’m such a horny girl (naughty smile). Unlike some religions, Wiccans consider the female body to be sacred and divine. That includes our sexuality as well. So if you’ve ever wondered what real Wiccan Witches are like in 2008 now you know. Yeah, we’re a lusty group. But, trust me, we enjoy every minute of it!

Guess who was singing Journey songs to me on our way home from dinner last night? That’s right. My yummy husband. And he sounded pretty good, too. I think he misses the Journey CD he’s letting me keep in my car. Of course we all know he won’t be getting that CD back any time soon! After searching several stores yesterday for Steve Perry’s solo album, Street Talk, he ordered it on Amazon last night. Until it arrives I guess he’ll have to sing those songs himself if he wants to hear them. I know what you’re thinking, and you’re right. Only a brave man would sing Steve Perry songs around a horny Witch like me. Looks like my husband is in for another exhausting week. Yowza!

Dear Goddess, I was listening to that Journey CD when I was running my errands this morning, and it gave me chills. No kidding. Just say capital “H” for horny!!!

Thanks, the writing is going slowly because of other book business stuff at the moment, but it is going very well. Of course, I love being in the hot tub with Wynn. Who wouldn’t love that, right? So a little extra time with him is just icing on the cake…if you know what I mean (naughty smile)!

Thanks! I’m going to send you an email which contains an article I wrote about everyday faery magick that will appear in the magazine 11:11 this fall. Be on the lookout for it. I think it will answer lots of your questions.

Also, the heroine in “What Witches Want” is a Wiccan Faery Witch like I am, so there is lots of Fey magick and Fey info in that novel.

I love it when life is good. I feel so happy now and I’m so thrilled things are going well.

Things are looking pretty good for this house we saw today. Did you get my email? When you get a chance, respond to that and I can tell you all about the house we’re probably going to get!

Looks like I’m going to need some pointers on some gardening. Goddess, the yard needs some work. It needs some bright, pretty flowers to liven up the yard, bring some more faeries to the place.
