Steve Perry and My Roaring Libido
Today is the day! If you’re in Columbia, South Carolina, today, come out to Columbiana Mall in the Harbison area. I’ll be at Waldenbooks, signing my Witchery Series novels from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. G.L. Giles, the popular vampire novelist from Charleston, will be signing with me as well. And you know what that means? We’re going to have a blast, talking romance, sex, yummy guys, Witches, sex, faeries, yummy guys, sex, and vampires. Did I mention yummy guys and sex? Yeah, we’re going to have lots of girl fun. So come on out. I’d love to see you!
Speaking of sex and yummy guys, ever since I gave my husband that Journey CD for our anniversary earlier this week, it’s been the one playing in his car whenever we go anywhere together. And if it isn’t, I request it. I know. I shouldn’t. As you can imagine it’s driving me CRAZY! My libido is over the top on a normal day, but expose it to a few Journey songs, and it starts to ROAR. *naughty smile*
As if that wasn’t enough, my husband’s fav Journey song is “Foolish Heart,” but it’s never on any of the greatest hits CDs. Not even the one I gave him. I did some research on the web a few days ago and discovered there’s a reason for that. “Foolish Heart” is not a Journey song. Who knew? It’s a Steve Perry song from his platinum solo album ”Street Talk.” Yup, you know what that means. We’re going to have to buy that CD too. That means we’ll have two CDs with Steve Perry’s ultra-sexy voice whirling my libido into orbit. Looks like I’m going to be wearing my bunny slippers 24/7 now (grin). For those of you who aren’t on Goodreads and haven’t heard me use that phrase before it means I’m about to run off into the sunset and have wild rabbit sex. Yeah, really.
Of course, I’m sure I’ll survive two Steve Perry CDs with a big smile on my face. I’m not so sure about my husband though. He’s already pleading exhaustion. BTW, Steve Perry turned 59 years old in January. What? How did that happen? In March he played demos of new material for Journey’s management team. They said his voice is as good as ever. He hasn’t lost a single note with age. I wonder if he still has that long, gorgeous hair? Dear Goddess, I’m in so much trouble! *wicked grin*
