The Goddess of Sensual Pleasure
My Patron Goddess is Bast, the Egyptian Cat Goddess. You might not know this, but a Witch never gets to choose her Patron Goddess. Nope, we are chosen. I’ve been a Witch for fourteen years, and I’ve been chosen by several Goddesses. Each one prepared me for the time when I would be chosen by Bast. If you’ve ever met me at a booksigning you may have noticed the necklace I wear. A pewter statue of Bast, a faery pendant given to me by an awesome jeweler-friend of mine, and an amazonite crystal hang on a long gold chain. Recently, I added a hummingbird sent to me by one of my readers in England. In my paranormal romance novel What Witches Want, I gave the heroine, Savannah (who is also a Wiccan Faery Witch like me), my Patron Goddess, Bast. The regal cat goddess also graces the cover of that novel.
Why would Bast choose me? Why indeed! Not only is she a playful goddess, but also a flirt and a tease. Bast is called the Goddess of Sensual Pleasure. No kidding. And the activity in her temples was known for being rather frisky. Need I say more? My, oh my, Bast and I are two of a kind, aren’t we? *naughty grin*
Well, I’m off to the dentist this morning. My dentist is my age and a really fun guy. I always bring reading material with me, an erotica novel with the most x-rated cover I can find just to torment him. Hey, what can I say? It’s not my fault I’m such a tease. I’m just following in the paw prints of my Patron Goddess, right? Works for me!

I know. But you know how I am. I tease and flirt with everyone. I can’t help myself.
But in my husband’s case (with the Journey songs) that’s the kind of “tormenting” that leads to “relief,” and that feels sooooooo good. If you know what I mean. (wicked grin)

I was excited to read once that Bast had a male consort Mau..not much is known about him,but it’s still cool.
I named a cute grey kitten that once,and I had to give him away to a family because he was too lonely for my apartment and my hours.
I love cats,I miss having them..I just wouldn’t want to shut one up in my trailer all day ever day.

Mau. I like that! And I do love the kitties. I guess you know I’ve been in feral cat rescue for 20+ years as a hobby and have had as many as 21 housecats and feral cats to care for.
Maybe one day you will get a kitty. But if you are gone a lot I would suggest two. It is easier to care for two cats rather than one, because they play with each other all day, and they never get lonely. So maybe two will find you some day…. *grin*

Hope all went well at the dentist! My dentist is also about my age (maybe a bit older) and he’s really hot
I also enjoy picking on him about how cute he is and do a bit of flirting!
And who knew botox could cure migraines? Hubby has been feeling good all day…which could be positive for some extra feeling good tonight
