First, some awesome news! Three days after going live in the Kindle Store my first memoir, Being Naughty: The Life & Times of an Erotica Novelist, hit the Top 100 Bestsellers List in two categories. It was #26 in Sex books and #21 in Marriage books out of almost 2000 books in each category. And it stayed on the Marriage list for over 24 hours. Wow! I swear, I have the best readers/fans in the world. Yes, I do.

Okay, I have a treat for you today. This is an interview that ran last week on the “Sizzling Hot Books” blog. When I posted about it on Goodreads, Facebook, and Twitter, several of my readers said they loved it because it gives a more in-depth view of my writing process and my books than my other interviews.

If you follow me on Twitter then you know I’ve been having nightly conversations with a 5000-year old vampire named “Spicy_vampire.” Damn, do I have my work cut out for me with that chilly chick! *falls over laughing* Every time I try to make a party girl outta her she threatens to slap a chastity belt on me. HORRORS!

One night she tried to deter me from coming down to visit her by mentioning there were a couple of hunky Weres guarding her bed during the day while she slept. Alrightyyyyy! You know me. Love those shifters! Ever since then I’ve been wondering how well those yummy guys know how to use their “tools.” *licks my naughty lips*

Jackie Hussein is one of our buds on Twitter. She also has a book review blog called “Insane Hussein.” Believe it or not, Jackie and I share the same birthday. Totally cool! Jackie often joins in on the conversations I have with Spicy as I try to loosen that vamp up and talk her into heading out to Vegas with me to party with some hunky strippers.

An awesome interview with me appeared last Friday on the “Books, Books, and More Books” blog (www.ruthiesbookreviews.blogspot.com). Ruth Schaller did a fab job with her questions! If you missed my tweets about it last Friday I thought you might like to take a look at it here.

I’ve done like seven interviews so far since “A Vampire’s Kiss” was published on March 9. The wild thing is even if some of the same questions are asked (and they are from time to time) my answers are always different. Why? Cause it just depends on what kinda mood this slut is in: slutty, sluttier, or sluttiest. No wonder one of my fans said she loves reading these interviews since she learns something different about me every time. Now you know why. lmao!

Speaking of that, I’m posting most of these interviews on my book site (”Interviews” button at http://www.avampskiss.blogspot.com) if you’d like to read more of them. And I just finished another interview on Thursday night that will go live May 5 on a vamp review blog. I was wide open that night, so it’s the sluttiest one yet. No kidding. I’ll tweet everyone to let you know when it goes live.

What to say, what to say? I say this is going to be a good series. If you like sexy vampires and sassy witches this will be the beginning of a great read for you. The series itself will be released in volumes. I am reviewing the first 3 chapters of Volume 1, “A Vampire’s Kiss”. It’s easy to see how hot and heavy Dray and Sara are headed for. The first three chapters give a tease of the story and introduces our main characters.

WHAT WITCHES WANT is a continuation of the story of the four witches from “Dixie”. Later in the book another woman is introduced. Noelle becomes a neighbor and friend during a time when Savannah needs one the most. I could feel the hope and faith Savannah had that she would find love and happiness. It is a wonderful book that makes you feel good about life.

If you are interested in the Wiccan Faith, witches, fairies, spells and chants with a romantic love story, I recommend this book to you!

The way Stamps is able to string words together in a sentence is beautiful. I wish all writers could do this with such ease. Her dialog is equally done to perfection…
