Are There Pictures Inside?

Whew!  I finally returned to my regular writing schedule (again!) yesterday to do lots of editing on Bewitched at the Beach, which makes me a very happy woman.  My, my, this has been a busy week!  It started out with the booksigning last Saturday, then all the emails that flood in after a booksigning, and finally lots of publisher business.  Like what?  Like one of my erotica novellas vanished into cyberspace at one publisher’s website.  Huh?  (scratches my head)  So I emailed another copy, which sets us back about three months.  Argh!  Then a dear friend of mine who used to run a publishing company is thinking about starting another one, and he is interested in publishing my erotica.  Yay!  A very interesting week for sure.
 
My dentist was definitely a happy man yesterday.  The cover of the erotica book I brought with me was HOT (of course), featuring a nude man sitting on a bed with his back to the viewer while a nude woman straddled him.  Yeah, you know the drill (naughty grin).  This seems to be a popular sexual position for erotica covers these days.  What Happens in Vegas and Blush come immediately to mind.  My dentist laughed when he saw it and said, “I like the book you’re reading.”  Then he turned to me with a silly grin on his face and asked, “Are there pictures inside?”  No, it’s a novel.  You gotta love this guy, right?  He cracks me up every time!

    That’s so exciting about the new publishing company! I’d love to be able to write a novel and publish it someday.

    But right now life is just too busy to sit down and write! I think that in a couple weeks, things will slow down where I can devote some time to reading and writing again.

    I think I have a pretty interesting story, but it needs some development. But alas, many other things to worry about.

    You should have told your dentist that the imagination is much better than any picture when it comes to these books!! I mean, wow…that’s some powerful stuff in those books :)
