Don’t Get Mad, Just Think About Sex Instead….Really!

My LJ friend, Dean, was having a fit yesterday because a bunch of people in his life were acting stupid, as we are all prone to do sometimes. He’s an Aries, and I told him he needs to chill, or he’ll end up plundering a village or something. So I suggested he should think about sex instead of getting mad, which he thought was a great idea because his libido is as out-of-control as mine.

Actually, that’s something I tell my Uber-Alpha husband all the time, too. Whenever he gets mad (about 10 times a day) I tell him he should think about sex instead. All that rage can’t be a good thing for his 56-year old body. I say, “Honey, every time you’re tempted to get mad, just think about sex instead. Ya know, think about kissing me, and licking me, and suckling my nipples, and fu*king me, and…..” You get my drift. Works great with him. Makes him giggle, and that’s a million times better than throwing another Uber-Alpha hissy fit, right?

I know, I know. It’s a sneaky way to get him to think about having sex with me all the time. But what can I say? I’m a Southern Woman, and we are lethal creatures. No, we have no regrets when it comes to our devious ways. Yes, we love every minute of the teasing torment we inflict on our men. Ahh, life is good, isn’t it? *naughty grin*

I don’t think Lindsay has time to come out that far. Her office is right by Richland Fashion Mall. We usually grab lunch near there. We’ll see what she says about her time and if she can come out this far for lunch.

If she can’t, I would still love to hook up with you for lunch some time and you can show me the perfume place

Gotcha. Yeah, Richland Mall is too far away for me, but I can certainly understand why Lindsay would need to stay in that area. No problem.

I don’t have that kind of time usually to go that far into town. I live in Harbison, so I always try to do lunch in that area. But, yeah, we can do lunch later at Columbiana, just you and I. That would be great fun! The week after next would be even better for me. Like Thursday (8/21). Let me know if that works for you if Lindsay can’t do lunch on Tuesday in Harbison.

Well that’s an interesting thing. I wonder if that will work for Barret. He’s an Uber-Alpha as well. We’ll see how that works out.

I love it when I can get him in a really horny mood, it always produces fantastic results. Like tonight for instance, he was in some kind of horny mood. But I’m not complaining.

Reading your comments with Melissa. I can definitely make it out there. I can take a long lunch. One of the biggest reasons I took the job was because my boss is really cool about these kinds of things. As long as I let her know that I’ll be taking a long lunch, she’s ok.

I wanted to thank you for your advice with my situation the other day. I spoke with my friend (she ask that I not use her name in association with the event, which I can appreciate and it’s why I made the entry private) and I managed to convince her to tell Barret what happened.

Barret spoke with his family and his aunt even said she thinks her son has a drinking problem. So we’re going to try to get him help. But he’s not welcome in my home anymore. I’m not bringing that negative energy into my home.

But I really appreciate your advice. Thank you.

I just sent you a PM. But I forgot to answer your question about my next booksigning. I have a funny post I am going to put up about that on Tuesday, but the next booksigning is September 6, 1:00 – 4:00 pm at Waldenbooks. I have been trying to get enough stock of “What Witches Want” in the store for that signing. Yancy ordered a bunch a few weeks ago, and on Friday I noticed there were only 4 left. That novel keeps selling out. So that’s not enough for the signing. He was on vacation last week, but will be back this week, so I need to check and see if he got my note and ordered more.

Anyway, look forward to seeing you on Tuesday for lunch!!
