For the Love of Trashy Lingerie
I don’t know if you’ve seen the comments on this blog or at Facebook, but my booksigning on Saturday was a HUGE success! Local readers/fans read in the December issue of my newsletter that it was my last booksigning, and they came out in force to buy my novels for themselves and as gifts for friends. Others came out just to tell me how much they loved the novels. 
Consequently, I sold out in an hour and a half. Wow! Yeah, I definitely felt the love on Saturday. Thanks, everyone…you are the BEST!!
Then, as I was leaving the mall, I discovered the lingerie department at Dillard’s was having its semi-annual lingerie sale.
Uh-oh.
I didn’t have time to stop on Saturday, but planned to go back this week. Why? Because (as you all know) I’m a trashy lingerie addict! And when I hit a big sale I like to take my time and look at EVERYTHING.
Then on Sunday night I was up until midnight, talking with a producer friend of mine about a photo shoot Alex and Rick are setting up for me with a glamour photographer next week. They want a bunch of sexy new pics of me for the novels and PR.
My friend has a lot of experience with shoots like this, so he helped me go through my wardrobe and pick out items we could put together in sexy outfits.
Of course, the challenge is Wes. He doesn’t mind me taking panty shots all by myself in my bathroom with my cell phone camera. But no way is he gonna let a photographer and other people see me in my panties in real life. LOL
So my friend and I had great fun putting together sexy outfits from my lingerie and street clothes that wouldn’t freak Wes out.
You know what this means, right? I now had a “professional” excuse to hit the lingerie sale at Dillard’s and indulge my addiction.
Alrightyyyyy! So I dashed over there Monday afternoon.
OMGoddess! You would have been so proud of me! I snagged two pairs of decadent hot pink lace panties marked down to $2.99 and $3.99. As well as several pairs of wicked black lace thigh-high stockings.
Best of all I found a gorgeous leopard-print short robe. It’s sooooo trashy. I just love it! It’s completely sheer, soft as a scarf, and was marked down from $50.00 to $38.00. It’s gonna look soooooo good with some of those outfits for the photo shoot next week, not to mention I’ve been wanting one for years and haven’t been able to find one I liked at a good price.
Driving back to my office, I realized there was a realllly short skirt I should get as well. It would look totally fab with the thigh-high stockings. You know what this means, right? I’ve got another professional excuse to go back and buy more.

As soon as I buy a digital camera (yes, Rick and Alex want me to get one of those, too) I’ll post pics on this site of my wicked panty purchases.
I know. I have waaaaay too much fun…! *trashy grin*

Oh how I LOVE lingerie shopping! Love the "professional excuse!" You go, girl! I hate we weren't in town to make it to your last booksigning, but am glad you had quite a turn out. Yes, you are loved and adored by us all!

You got it, Carol. Wes is one of those slow learners. And I never think he's gonna be comfortable with people in real life seeing me in my panties. I don't even try to understand it. I just go with it and work around him. lmao!
See? There are distinct advantages to be delusional. Almost any reason can be used for panty shopping. Just ask me!
Speaking of panties, Aex just put some more panty shots up on my site. I need to add descriptions to them now. And I took more lingerie shots this morning of my purchases on Monday and emailed them to her. What fun!!

Thanks for the congrats!!! Same thing happens to me. Every time someone mentions "sex" to me in a conversation I completely forget what we were talking about. And don't get me started on lingerie. That totally blitzs my mind.
Let me know if you find some good stuff at Dillard's. I'm going back to the mall tomorrow to get more of those panties. They fit GREAT! Plus, I wanna look at some of those wicked short skirts at The Body Shop. They outta look fab with my black lace thigh-highs. Okay, I do a lot of my shopping at the same stores 20-somethings love. That's kinda a no-brainer, right? lmao!

Go back and look at them again, Carol. I just added commentary about each one of them. True. I have a tiny ass and no stretch marks. There are advantages to having furbabies, ya know?
Although that also means when I go to a restaurant I always sit in a padded booth. When they ask why I don't want to sit on a hard wood chair I point to my ass and say," I have no padding on my ass." They usually laugh and give me a padded booth seat then. Yeah, I do love my cute little ass….it gets me great seats at restaurants. lmao!!!!

Ok I love the new pics, the leopard print is my fav also. OOOO the pink ones with snow flakes are so cute. Well i have to say that i have an ass and love that i do. But my honey says its a very GOOD ass. So thats why i like it.

I went shopping for some sexy painties and OOOOO i like the way they feel. So i have more shopping to do. But i dont have any excuses for my shopping, i just want the sexy things. I do it all the time when the opportunity presents itself. Sometimes I'm not even wearing a cami or a bra. Being an exhibitionist is such FUN!!!
I love them too. High-heeled boots are all I wear summer or winter. I have that brown pair you saw with 3-inch heels, and then a black pair with 2-inch heels. In fact I bought the brown ones in October when I discovered I had worn the black ones so much the heel was trying to fall off. I bought some super-glue at Target and glued it back on, but figured I should get a backup pair just in case.

That was it! Do you remember I had on leopard-prints under the short "Wicked" t-shirt? I cut that t-shirt off to show my stomach, but it was November and kinda cold outside so I wore the cami under it. An inch or so of the cami showed beneath the t-shirt. That was that cami! I had flipped up the t-shirt several times during the signing and flashed people. Amanda remembers it because I shocked her when I did it, and she screamed. Too funny!
I am tall. I'm 5'9" and had on boots with 3 inch heels that put me at 6 feet.
