Going With the Flow…
I know I said I’d post this morning about my lunch yesterday with Mark, but it didn’t happen. He was just too slammed at work to get away, so we rescheduled for tomorrow. Bummer, since we were both looking forward to overdosing on the abstract art visuals I’m bringing. Oh, well…
But as a Witch I believe in perfect timing. So if the Goddess felt yesterday was not the best timing for our lunch, I’m cool with that. Over the years I’ve taught myself to adjust to change quickly and go with the flow. It’s a Witchy thing. Witches never try to assume we know what’s best for us on our lifepath. We’re not into egomania. Instead we hand the details over to our Patron Goddess and trust her to arrange them for our highest good. It means we have to learn how to bend and sway like willow trees in a breeze, but that’s a good thing, too. It’s impossible to worry or stress when you believe the Goddess is tweaking your life to give you perfect timing. Can’t beat that, right? *big smile*
Of course, everything turned out very well yesterday. I stayed in my office and attacked a huge pile of paperwork, filed and mailed my business taxes for December, got my 2008 accounts ready to give to my accountant, and started on my 2009 accounts. Plus, I cleared everything else off my desk, slowly but surely. Yeah, it was a very productive day.
So Mark and I are meeting at the mall for lunch tomorrow. Instead of posting on this blog in the morning like I usually do, I’ll wait and post Friday afternoon when I return. That way I can tell you about all the fun we had.
In the meantime, I wanted to let you know it’s that time again! Hard to believe, I know. My first booksigning of the year is coming up this Saturday, January 10, from 1:00pm – 4:00pm at Waldenbooks, which is inside Columbiana Center mall, two stores down from Dillard’s department store. I’ll have plenty of copies of my latesterotic romance, Call of the Witches: Book Three of the Witchery Series, as well as lots of copies of the first two novels in this trilogy. We’ll be having a wicked time (as usual), talking about all kinds of fun stuff, but mostly yummy guys and sex (is there anything else? *naughty grin*). So if you’re in Columbia, come by and join in the fun. I’d love to see you there!!
Sounds like I live at that mall, doesn’t it? Well, I kinda do… LOL
xoxo
