Herbal Testosterone Revisited
Hope you had an awesome Christmas weekend! I sure did. I got tons of much-needed housecleaning done (still working on that). And I started the first draft of A Vampire’s Kiss, the first novel in my new Manigault Vampire series. Let me warn you. This is going to be a verrrrry erotic paranormal romance series, and I’m having major fun with Sara (the heroine) and Drayton Manigault (the sexy vampire hero).
Sara is unlike any character I’ve ever created. She is totally spontaneous and uninhibited. Really. The woman has no boundaries whatsoever. That means she says everything that pops into her head the minute it appears. And she does everything she wants to do the minute she thinks of it. Yeah, she’s a hoot! To make her even more fun I’ve given her my raging libido. You know what that means, right? Oh, yeah, she’s surprising Dray almost every time he turns around. A nice change for this sexy 145 year-old vampire who isn’t surprised by much of anything anymore. Of course, he’s loving it. *wicked grin*
Okay, back to reality (even though I’m never quite sure what that is *LOL*). Two weeks ago, before my personal life blew sky-high and I got divorced and remarried, I was investigating herbal testosterone supplements for my ex-husband (who shall remain nameless) because even though his count was in the normal range it was very low.
As you recall on that Monday morning (before my world blew apart that night) I had gone to the health food store to buy Maca, a natural supplement that increases testosterone levels in men. Well, that’s not what I ended up with, but I never got a chance to tell you that. It turns out the manager is a guy and a buddy of mine (no surprise, right? *LOL*). He also has 6 kids. So I told him what was happening with my ex, and what I was looking for.
He recommended an herb called Tribulus terrestris. This herb is not a hormone (Yay!), but it increases testosterone levels in men quickly and dramatically (as much as 50%) by enhancing the hormone that produces testosterone in a man. It has no bad side effects either. I have to say I was not surprised when I discovered they’ve been using this herb in China for over a 1000 years. Should have known. The Chinese have always had it together when it comes to alternative healing and herbs.
Of course, now that my ex-husband (who shall remain nameless) is out of my life, I’m giving this herbal supplement to my yummy new husband, Wes. He’s also 56, so it can’t hurt, right? Especially since every time I see him I think "Sexfest!" right before I jump him. But I digress…
Sure enough after a week of taking this herb, I could see an increase in his libido, much to my delight (YOWZA!). So if your libido is running circles around the libido of your husband or BF maybe it’s his testosterone level. You might want to give Tribulus terrestris a try. I highly rec it.
Hey, no one messes with my active sex life, ya know? And you shouldn’t have to settle for less either. *lusty grin*

Or maybe the women were sick of low testosterone levels and were horny.
