I’m Back, and I’ve Got a Condom on a Stick. Really.
If you’re wondering why I didn’t post yesterday, it’s because I came down with a nasty cold Monday night. Fortunately, my acupuncture doctor carries a wide selection of herbal formulas from China. One is a tea made from Isatis root called Banlangen that will knock a cold out in 24 hours or less. No kidding! In fact I started improving this time after only six hours. So between the Benedryl and three cups per day of Dr. Li’s tea the cold is gone, and I’m just using the occasional lotion tissue now. Yay!
My booksigning on Saturday was great fun. I didn’t spot any yummy guys in the mall this time, but I did sell lots of books and met some wonderful people. The cool thing is I seem to meet Wiccans at every one of my booksignings. Amazing, but true. There are more of us out there than people realize, I think. This time I met a sweet Wiccan couple, Jessica and Justin, and we had a wonderful conversation about how they plan to raise their baby as a Wiccan. I also saw a friend of mine who used to work at the B&N across the street from the mall. He and his very sweet girlfriend, Amanda, were shopping and stumbled upon my booksigning. Then there was Renee, who was visiting from Louisiana. And Olivia, a major fan of many of my fav PNR novelists. And a very nice, intelligent teenage girl I know I corrupted (wicked grin). Plus, many others. Big fun!
Since it’s still January, I handed out my naughty holiday card, which caused lots of giggles. So did the specialty Cheryl sent me from Ellora’s Cave. It’s a turquoise condom on a stick made to look like a sucker. Yeah, I got lots of hysterical laughter with that one.
The funny thing is both Chris and Yancey asked the same question when they saw it. They both wanted to know if it was flavored. Huh? I didn’t know condoms came in flavors. And besides, who wants to suck latex when a naked cock tastes soooo much better? Duh!
I know. It’s always all about cocks for me and how much I love them. Oh, well. At least I’m consistent in my sexual obsessions, right? *naughty grin*

Hey Laura, sounds like you had a great book signing on Saturday. Sorry I had to miss it. I ended up having to work all day. Hopefully I’ll be there for the next one.

Hi, Jen (big wave)!
I didn’t hear from you by PM at GR, so I figured you couldn’t make it. Total bummer you had to work! I thought this year you didn’t have to be on call on weekends anymore?
Anyway, no problem! My next booksigning is Feb. 7, and you know I’ll have the condom sucker with me. It’s just tooooooo wicked not to keep it in my backpack, so I can spring it on unsuspecting people, ya know? Big fun!! *naughty grin*
