Is This Romantic, or What?!!

My husband has been reading the finished chapters from my latest erotica novella, Bewitched at the Beach, looking for typos, etc., before I hand it over to my editor.  Last night when he jumped me (surprised the daylights out of me, too…thank you, Realm…thank you, thank you, thank you!), he started quoting lines from the hottest parts of the sex scenes in that novella.  Things Wynn had said and done (how HOT is that?!!).  Hey, I’m just happy my husband reads these manuscripts for me.  To think he not only reads them, but they impress him enough that he also remembers lines from them to quote back to me days later…Whoa!  Is that romantic, or what?!!

Anyway, he would quote a hot line to me, as he was seducing me with my own book, and then he would say,”They do this in your novels.  Let’s do it, too.”  And I said, “Honey, they don’t do any sexual stuff in my novels that I haven’t already done myself.  And a lot of that I’ve done with you.”  He replied, “Oh, yeah, right.  Well, let’s do it again!”  Then he gave me a wicked look and added, “Research, ya know?”

Sounds good to me!  Hey, you don’t have to ask me twice (have I mentioned lately how much I LOVE research? *lusty grin*).  So in the name of “research,” we were all over the bedroom and bathroom last night.  Never made it to the bed.  Infact it was almost midnight, and I never got a chance to close the curtains either.  Plus, all the lights were on.  I didn’t notice, but my husband did, and he loved telling me that, too.  Yeah, Realm seems to be turning him into an exhibitionist as well.  Awesome!

When I woke him up this morning, I dropped the thong on his chest from the babydoll lingerie I bought this week.  I haven’t worn that babydoll since Tuesday, and I never wore the thong (you know me…I’m all for ”easy access” *naughty grin*).  But I thought he might like it as a “souvenir.”  After last night and all the quoting he did from my erotica novella (among other things) I thought the man deserved a treat, ya know?

That is so romantic!!! Lucky girl=)
I have been thinking that the pheromones must work on me as well…I am less likely to be upset by my hubby’s crankiness when I am wearig them…just a thought.
I finished Witches of Dixie. I really enjoyed it, but thought the first two characters needed more time…I would have liked to hear more about them too. Are these the same characters that are in the next book?

I agree. I am now a believer in sex pheromones!! And the thing is “Realm” is not supposed to have as much of that stuff in it as some of the other perfumes on that site, yet it works great every time. I’m thrilled your sex pheromone perfume is working so well for you, too!

I’m so glad you enjoyed my novel, “The Witches of Dixie: Book One of the Witchery Series.” The answer is “yes” to your question. The next novel in that series, “What Witches Want: Book Two of the Witchery Series,” continues Savannah’s story (she’s the one who makes the magickal handbags). The third novel in that series, “Call of the Witches: Book Three of the Witchery Series,” continues Maylene’s story. Those were the two Witches you wanted to hear more about in the “The Witches of Dixie.” And you will LOVE their novels!

All of the Witches appear in each of the novels. It’s just that the first novel is mostly Ravena’s and Mirabella’s story. The second one is Savannah’s Story. And the third one is Maylene’s story. Like I said, you will love the last two novels. More romance and sex in those. And lots of real Witchy stuff, just like the first one.

    Happy reading!

You lucky girl, you!! I am glad he had fun helping with your research :)

Hope his headaches are better :)

  6. laura_stamps8 Says:

Guess what, Melissa? The last 3-4 “playtimes” he hasn’t had a headache, or it wasn’t bad enough for Tylenol. I think they are going away. I have heard that about sex headaches, so that is a very good sign. Makes him a happy camper for sure! *grin*

I’m glad that his sex headaches are going away because that could sure put a damper on playtime! I mean who wants a blinding headache (even if you do get an orgasm beforehand!) So, if the headaches are going away or lessening in severity, that’s a great thing :) Means you can have more playtimes!!! Go have fun ;)
