Let’s Talk Sexy Lingerie….Seriously
Okay, I have a confession to make. I’ve never bought sexy lingerie. Nope. Never in all my adult life (which is a lot of years…yikes!).
Here’s the thing. As everyone knows by now I’m definitely oversexed (and loving every minute of it *wicked grin*). But I’m also practical. Every time I pass sexy lingerie in the mall I always consider it, but end up coming to the same conclusion: I’d rather be naked. No kidding. I’ve even had this sexy lingerie discussion with my husband, but it just makes him giggle. So he’s no help. The thing is I’m one of those people who loves to be nude. Truly. Skin on skin…love it! So whenever I look at sexy lingerie I always think, “What’s the point when I’d rather be naked anyway?” Now you can see my dilemma.
But lately several of my friends and readers have been talking about sexy lingerie, and I’m thinking it would be fun to give it a shot. So here’s what I want to know:
1.) What’s your fav sexy lingerie?
2.) Where did you buy it?
3.) What effect did it have on your hubby?

I happen to be a fan of the chemise and the babydolls as well as the corsets. Hubby loves them especially if they are mostly mesh and lacy with little intricate patterns and if they come with g-strings or thongs. He adores the one I have where the bra cups attach in the center and he can open from there. Now, don’t get me wrong they usually don’t stay on the whole time…it’s kind of like wrapping paper for us…he sees the pretty package and wants to get to what’s inside
He used to say that I didn’t need lingerie because it would only ever stay on the floor. Not anymore…he loves it when I put it on. Also, some of the stuff is pretty comfy, so I kind of enjoy wearing it and generally it just makes you feel pretty.
Good places to check out to buy lingerie would be Victoria’s Secret or Frederick’s of Hollywood. They both usually have some pretty nice stuff. (Note to other readers…if you are plus-sized, check out Lane Bryant.)
Effects on Hubby…ever seen a kid in a candy store? He loves it. To him, it’s like a preview of coming attractions! (hehe) We still have our skin on skin time but now he gets to open his present before that and he sure likes that! And I don’t always go in for putting the lingerie on either…you have to mix it up a bit

I forgot to add the way it makes me feel to be wrapped up in satin, silk, and lace. I love the way it all feels on my skin, which makes me feel sexier. If I feel sexier, then he’s going to benefit too! lol

My favorite thing I’ve ever bought, I actually got at Walmart and it cost less than $30.
I found this really sexy matching bra and thong set. It was dark red with a black sheer material over it. I then went to get some thigh high stockings with a lacy edge and some stilettos (did I spell that right?). It was a SEXY outfit, and not very expensive.
It was a good night.

I completely agree. I’ve done some sexy lingerie shopping today, and you’re right. It feels fantastic on my skin…love it!

YOWZA! That sounds really HOT.
BTW, I had to go to the mall this morning because “What Witches Want” had almost sold out last week at Waldenbooks, and I had left a note for Yancy to order more books. He wasn’t there so I left the note with JC. Since Yancy was working today I thought I would check up on it. And he did order more. Good!
BUT that also meant I could cruise Victoria’s Secret and some other places for sexy lingerie. Got a really cute outfit at Dillard’s for $9.50 (was $38.00). They have a 75% off rack in their lingerie department, and the stuff looks as good or better than what I saw at VS. So check it out sometime. You might find some awesome bargains there too.
Anyway, I am going to post more about this tomorrow. Picked up some pheromone perfume too, and intend to try it out on my hubby tonight. You’ll hear all about it tomorrow (wicked grin)!

Ive always liked looking at Frederick’s of Hollywood. The trouble is I can’t afford ‘em or fit in ‘em (but soon tho’). I’ve always like the look and feel of red silk in a chemise and the babydolls.

I’ve always wondered about buying some of it, but I don’t know if my husband would find it silly. I expect he might, but I guess I won’t know unless I try.
I’m plus-sized, so it would need to be something rather… flowing and somewhat concealing. Nothing really tiny. I might take a peek online and see if I find anything that interests me.

Great to hear from you! Yeah, you should definitely try some. And go for black. Turns out black and red are most men’s fav colors. I’m going to post in the next day or so about what a HIT the black babydoll I bought last week was. Yowza! Really surprised me, because like you I didn’t know if this stuff would work or not. But it does. Trust me.
Hey, is there a “Lane Bryant” store near you? They carry awesome plus-size and super-size clothes, and have some incredibly gorgeous, totally sexy lingerie.
