Sex in the Shower
Okay, ladies, help me out here. You know how I am about writing sex scenes that involve water. Love them! And you may have already suspected this, so I’ll clear up the mystery right now. I never write a sex scene in one of my novels that I haven’t “tried out” first myself in real life with my husband or old boyfriends. Ha! Now you know how much fun I’ve had and continue to have, right? *naughty grin*
But I’ve got a problem. I write lots of shower/bathroom sex scenes in my novels (yeah, I spend a lot of time having sex in the bathroom…who knows why?…it just kinda works out that way). But most of the shower sex scenes are with tall heroes and short heroines. You know, the hero helps the heroine hop up and wrap her thighs around the hero’s yummy hips. Then rests her back against the wall (yeah, been there, done that…big fun! *wicked grin*).
But I’m trying to work out a shower scene in a normal size shower/tub combo like you find in most homes between a tall heroine and a tall hero. Only this time the heroine remains standing (kinda). Alright, here’s my problem. Brain cell failure. Seriously. My husband and I are both tall (I’m5′9″ and he’s 6′2″). I know we did this when we were dating and in the early years of our marriage before we moved on to other “positions.” Of course, that would have been 29+ years ago. But for some reason I can’t remember how we did it! No joke. My husband and I tried to reenact this a few months ago. But we ran out of hot water in the shower before we could figure it out, forcing us to move our “action/adventure” research to a more suitable (i.e., warmer) location.
So, ladies, help me out. If you are 5′7″ or taller, and your yummy guy is 6 feet or taller, and you’ve had sex in a normal-size shower/bathtub combo and remained standing, tell me how you did it. Mostly, I want to know how you positioned yourself, and where your feet went. There has got to be a trick to this that my 50+ year old brain cells have forgotten.
And, Dean, if you are 6 feet tall and have done this with one of your taller lady-loves, tell me how you did it.

I’m sorry, I fit the criteria in every way except that I haven’t had upright sex in the shower. I’ve had sex in the shower, but not upright…For us, it’s usually foreplay or it’s his turn.

Well, we fit the criteria as well but we’ve never had sex standing in the shower…it’s a bit difficult to maneuver. We use it either as foreplay, his time or positions not requiring standing.

I have never had problems with sex in a shower..it can be a tight fit,but it’s all a matter of logistics.
Strong hand bars,and built in shelves are nice too..
I think if I could build a shower,I would add some high hand holds on both sides.
I was just talking to my love about the idea of using the shower to facilitate summer time food play with Sun ripe peaches using the juices as a sort of fun foreplay aid..as well as the peach fuzz,then a nice warm soapy shower-sex afterward..

I’ve got it!! Thanks, everyone, for your comments. Everything you said jogged my memory cells, and they are firing again (Yay!).
Okay, here’s what worked for us all those years ago. Your yummy guy puts his back against the back wall of the shower and bends his knees a little. Then you cosy up to him and lift you leg, resting your foot on that raised corner of the average bathtub/shower combo. Your yummy guy grabs your hips and slides home. Big fun!
