Sex Pheromones

I had an awesome day yesterday!  Hope you did too.  First, I worked my way through a pile of paperwork that’s been accumulating on my desk for the last week.  Ugh!  Then I experienced one of those magickal editing days.  Some days the editing is painful.  And some days it’s just slow.  But every once in a while I have one of those days when I’m “in the groove,” and everything comes together perfectly.  Yesterday was one of those days.  I edited the first part of Chapter 4 of Bewitched at the Beach, where Wynn and Noelle come back from a night of dancing at a hotel bar and go at it like wild rabbits.  Okay, part of that “groove” yesterday was probably because I’m a wild rabbit myself, so it was just a matter of “feeling the scene,” if you know what I mean (lusty grin).  But who cares?  That scene sizzles on paper now, and that’s all that counts.  I love it when that happens!

Training is going well with my Uber-Alpha husband.  However, when one of the servers at the restaurant where we ate dinner last night tried to hug him after she hugged me (yeah, I’m a hugger), he literally ran out the door to get away from her.  No touchy-feely guy, my husband (thus, the need for “training”).  But as we were walking to the car he did slip his arm around my waist and hug me without any prompting.  Whoa!  New experience for both of us.  Like I said, so far so good.

Which brings me to the subject of this post.  One of my LJ friends (Diet Coke) got me thinking about sex pheromones this week, because she’s been trying them out on her husband.  Hmm.  So I’m thinking, if I nuke my Uber-Alpha with sex pheromones I could accelerate the progress of his training.  Makes sense to me.  And I must say I like that idea (you knew I would, didn’t you? *naughty smile*).

In the comments to Melissa on yesterday’s post I listed a few sex pheromone sites I found on google. Awesome stuff for sure.  The surprising thing is some of these sex pheromone perfumes and formulas were created years ago by the famous Aleister Crowley, who is one of the granddaddies of modern Witchcraft.  Who knew?  So dousing myself with sex pheromones is suddenly looking better and better.  Not to mention my husband will never know what hit him.  But that’s the point, isn’t it?  *wicked smile*

Hey, if any of you have used perfumes with sex pheromones in them, let me know.  Which ones did you like, and where did you get them, and how did they work for you?  I found one company that looks good, and I plan to check it out today if I have the time.  I’ll let you know tomorrow what I find out.  Cool beans!!

I’m interested to hear what you find out here. I would be apt for trying it out but it would have to be something with no scent because Hubby’s nose is sensitive. I want feedback before I venture there :)

Let me know what you find out! I might look into that too!

I bought an itty bitty bottle from a company I found on ebay. It is scented. I got lucky with it once, but my schedule has prevented a repeat trial….I’ll keep you all posted as I try it again.

I bought Danainae’s Fleur de Banane, described to have the scents of ripe fragrant bananas, vanilla beans, African wild gardenia, jasmine and tuberoses. I chose this one because I thought it would complement one of the BPAL perfume oils I like to wear.

WOW! That sounds awesome. Does it smell as good as it sounds?

That’s exactly what I was thinking. I want to find one to complement my signature scent (Shalimar), so I’m looking for something with mostly vanilla in it.

But I know you can get it unscented, too, to mix with your regular perfume. But I’d much rather have a scented one, you know? And do a complementary thing.

It does smell good, but I’d almost be more inclined to go with an unscented one so I could mix it with any scent.
