Sexy Leopard-print Panties…Yes!!
What an insane week this has been! First, things kinda boiled over with one of my Goodreads groups on Tuesday, so I’ve had to deal with some group craziness the last few days. Add to that an increase in emails and PMs from readers/fans (which I LOVE!), and I’ve worked a few 14-hours days this week. Plus, I wrote the February issue of the newsletter on Monday, and it went out on Wednesday (more on that later).
Yesterday morning it looked like things might be calming down a bit, but the group stuff started up again, and then one of my cyber-sex guys needed help working through a personal crisis. He’s a totally sexy, wonderful guy (oh, how I’d love to get my hands on his gorgeous bod! *lusty grin*), so I was more than happy to help. But by then the stress of my insane week caught up with me, and I needed relief fast. Like shopping relief. Yeah, time to treat myself big-time!
I had already planned to stop by Waldenbooks at the mall, so I thought I’d cruise through Victoria’s Secret afterwards. I know I was there with Temple on Tuesday, but I didn’t get a chance to look much before we left. This time I did, which only left me with the same question I always have when I go to Victoria’s Secret. What is it about me that I can never find anything I like at this store? And the few times I do, the price is so high it makes me giggle as I give up and walk out? *shakes my head in wonder*
Fortunately, Victoria’s Secret isn’t too far from Sears in this mall. I know. Sears is the last store you’d ever think about when you’re on a quest for sexy lingerie (in my case, panties), right? Not. I actually bought one of my fav sheer black babydolls on sale there last year. Surprisingly, the quality is excellent, and the prices are awesome. You just have to do a little searching. But it’s well worth it.
Am I lucky woman or what? Turns out Sears is having its annual Lingerie Sale this month. EUREKA! Next thing I know I find several pairs of silky leopard-print panties edged in black lace on their sale table. YES! And I found some decadent black lace panties there as well. YES! All totally trashy. All totally me. Just the reward I needed for surviving this crazy week, ya know? *happy dance, happy dance!*
