The Care and Maintenance of a Boy-Toy

Happy-dance time!  Major edits are going very well on Bewitched at the Beach.  My husband will be gone all weekend, so I plan to work a couple of those 12-hour days I’m famous for (grin).  Which means I’ll make even more progress on major edits by Monday.  Yay!

Speaking of husbands, I think I almost killed mine Thursday night.  Poor guy.  Like I said, he’s going to be gone all weekend, playing in a golf tournament.  Earlier this week I told him he needed to “service me well” for several days before he left, so I could make it through the weekend without him (LOL).  Well, he jumped me on Wednesday night (a lovely surprise).  And I jumped him on Thursday night.  But at that “golden moment” (you know which one I’m talking about) he got a sharp pain in both of his temples that scared the we-willies out of him.  He thought he was having a stroke or something.

He was fine the next day and has been extra sweet to me ever since, because he kinda flipped out when that happened Thursday night (you know, the typical uber-Alpha reaction).  But I learned my lesson.  No jumping a 56-year old man an hour after he mows the lawn in July heat in South Carolina.  Ha!

I hope I can remember that next time.  Like I said in my blog post yesterday, all of my brain cells tend to head south as fast as their little bunny slippers will take them when I’m involved in my fav “playtime activity.”  But I’ll try.  The point of having a boy-toy is “having” him, not “killing” him, right?  So I’ll try to be a good girl and remember that next time.

Yeah, like that’s going to happen!   *naughty grin*

Okay, definitely have to be more careful there! I mean if you kill the Boy-Toy then you have to find a new one and new ones can be so hard to train…especially after you’ve spent years training the current one ;)

Well, I am glad he is okay! Now try to be more careful with him when he gets home!!

I’ll try. But you’ll find out in my post tomorrow, that’s something I’m not very good at. What can I say? My mind has a tendency to wander when given a naughty chance. *lusty smile*
