To run my own business, which I have always done, first as a painter and now as a novelist. None, but the Uber wishes I had a better sense of direction. I only had to visit him twice when he was in the hospital last week, which is about 10 minutes from my house. I got lost both times. What can I say? The good thing about people like me is we are used to being lost, so we never stress over it. The Uber does all my stressing for me. Needless to say, I am not allowed to drive out of town, because he knows he’ll never see me again. Or he’ll never survive the stress attack it would give him. Probably both. *grin* Water. I quit drinking alcoholic beverages 27 years ago. Not that it’s helped my terrible sense of direction in the least, but…. That’s easy. Black olives. Hey, that’s a vegetable, right? Or is it a fruit? Hmm. Tricky little things, aren’t they? I read about 200 books every year. Mostly erotica. At the moment I am reading a nonfiction sex book, Supersex by Trace Cox. LOVE it! In fact I noticed last night the book is starting to come apart at the spine already. Hey, not my fault the awesome sex photos in it make me horny, ya know? Aries No tats (I’m not into chemicals being on my skin). But my ears are pierced. Speaking of that, I just found out one of my Goodreads friends (Lori) is kinda dating a yummy motorcycle guy with long hair. And his penis is pierced. Wow. I’ve had a hard time concentrating on much of anything else ever since I heard that. * lusty grin* Wanting to jump my husband’s bones 24/7. He thinks that’s my worst habit. Of course, I disagree. Total optimist. And why not? All I obsess about every day is how much I love sex. Yup, my life is one big happy meal for sure. What an insane question to ask me!!! You know I’m an exhibitionist and have a bad habit of jumping the Uber in elevators. Since I’m married, if I were stuck in an elevator with a yummy guy I would probably ogle his body and end up fixating on his crotch. Well, you asked!!! 12) Tell me one weird fact about you. Yes, ten cats. I have been in feral cat rescue for 30+ years I think they’re boring. Nothing. I like the way I look at 51, and I always feel like I’m 23, so being delusional definitely has its advantages. I’m very healthy, have lots of energy, and my body is a roaring sex machine. What’s not to like? You have to ask?!! Hazel Nah. Although cops and big black trucks have really been turning me on lately for some bizarre reason. ButI digress… Yuck….chemicals! 10% of my monthly income goes to cat rescue charities every month, so that’s where 10% of it would go. I only get mad twice a year, and it’s always the Uber’s fault (yes, he will agree with that), so my fav band at any time is…..drum roll…..Journey with Steve Perry!! Gee, what a surprise. The lingerie department at Dillard’s. I’m sooooooo addicted to their sexy lingerie. If it’s sheer and it’s black, I want it! *wicked grin* I’m a psychic. I’ve talked with spirits all my life. I have never taken a writing course in my entire life. That’s right. I majored in studio art in college and became a professional artist (painter). Then when I turned thirty I changed my career and became a writer. So I’m self-taught. Yet I have published over 40 books in the last 21 years with numerous publishers, won lots of prestigious writing awards, including a "Pulitzer Prize" nomination and seven "Pushcart Award" nominations. Seriously. Hey, I can be serious. Sometimes.

Well, most of the time we are not too “serious”, we’re more like goofy…but I have been married almost 8 years now to a wonderful man

to be a mom and housewife…hoping to fulfill the first part in the next couple of years

I wish I were an artist…I have no artistic talent….my stick people even look bad

Nothing. I am happy with my looks. I am, however, obsessed with a healthier lifestyle which will end up making me lose weight. That doesn’t mean that I hate myself or what I look like. I just want to be healthier and the end result means that I will weigh less.

I’m a bit late to the proceedings, but thought I’d add my bit anyway…
1) Are you currently in a serious relationship?
Nope. That’s a work in progress. And yeah, Laura I’m getting my backside to a gym sometime soon. Honest injun
2) What was your dream growing up?
Live in a massive old house in the middle of nowhere with a rather large library and be a writer. I’m working on a story that’s currently at 10,000 words. Does that count?
3) What talent do you wish you had?
I’d love to be able to draw and paint. Unfortunately anybody I draw winds up looking like Mr or Mrs Potato Head…
4) If I bought you a drink what would it be?
Nice glass of wine. Preferably a nice Merlot. Or a vodka on occasion. Don’t drink that much, actually. Now tea is a different matter. I slurp that the way some people chain smoke . (I hasten to add I don’t smoke)/
5) Favorite vegetable?
Parsnips. Love ‘em. Mashed, or roasted. Sweet potatoes are fabulous too. Mushrooms? In a word BLEURGH, EVIL! When I’m Prime Minister, I shall ban them completely…
6) What was the last book you read?
I read voraciously. I’m currently reading a book on Cosmic Ordering, another one called, ‘You Sexy Witch,’ by LaSaraFirefox. I’m also reading ‘The Ted Hughes Letters,’ as he’s my favourite poet, ever. My bus time read is William Blake…and I’ve just finished ‘The Witch of Portobello,’ by Paulo Coehlo.
7) What sign are you?
Sagittarius.
Three tattoos. A rather naughty looking angel at the top of my left arm, a rather lovely she-wolf with green eyes at top of my right arm and a phoenix in the lower middle of my back. My ears are pierced twice. No other piercings aside from that though, with no plans to get any.
9) Worst Habit?
I’m a terrible procrastinator. And I couldn’t organise my way out of a paper bag.
10) Do you have a Pessimistic or Optimistic attitude?
I swing somewhere between the two.

I’ve got a cute , but psychotic Jack Russell / Border Collie / Whippet cross called Kevin.

I think they’re a bit overrated.
15) If you could change one thing about how you look, what would it be?
I’d like to dump two stone, but as I’m tall I kind of get away with it. And I wish my hair would hurry and grow. I melted the side in an accident with straighteners earlier this year. It’s just grown out from the chin length bob I had to have to get rid of the damage. Now thank God I can put it up in chopstick and put in a ponytail. I don’t suit short hair. Otherwise I’m happy enough…I love my freckles, for instance and my hair is dark red.

Crime partner definitely.

Green. But the sort of sludgy green that you see on a dirty pond. Algae coloured. They’re too green to be hazel, but aren’t a clear green.

Not a huge fizzy drinks fan. I’ll have coke with vodka or Bacardi, but that’s it.
20) If you won $10,000 today, what would you do with it?
Buy a new computer and put the rest aside for when I go back to university.

‘You Oughta Know,’by Alanis Morrisette. Or ‘I’m Still Standing,’ by Elton John.

Any large bookshop. Just plonk me there and forget all about me. I’ll be fine.

Seen too many not to believe in them. My Dad was with me for quite sometime after he died. He wanted to check I was okay, I think. I haven’t seen or felt him in a long time, so I’m wondering if he’s gone off to get reincarnated. Who knows?

Sleep. Daydream. Read. I have a very healthy fantasy life. Pity real life ain’t the same…but still. And spend way the hell too much time on the internet.
