Today is the day. Yup, the blog chat is finally here. Yay!!

It’s me, Auntee. I finally rolled outta bed! LOL! Wowee! What a way to start a chat! How are you this morning? It’s freezing in the house–I was thinking about putting on the furnace but now I don’t think I’ll be needing to!:)

Hi, Auntee (big wave!)–
Don’t you love the undies on that guy? YOWZA! He fills them out quite nicely, I think. Made my libido soar when I saw that. Of course it doesn’t take much, but still….he is a lovely for sure. *naughty grin*
It’s been kinda cool for us down here the last few nights because it has been cloudy rainy. So lows in the high 50s feel chilly to us. But the sun is out bright again today, and it will probably be hot as usual.
Did you see Jen’s comment in the Purvs (your Lora Leigh thread). She had planned to bring me the first novel in that series at my booksigning on the 6th, but discovered she had let a friend borrow it. She just found out she will have it back to bring to me on my booksigning on the 4th. So I am going to hold off now and read the series after the 4th. That way I can read them together. Good plan, yes? So now you don’t have to send me Marly’s book whenever you get it back. I didn’t want to tell you that until I found out for sure what was happening with Jen’s copy.

Hi Laura,
Yeah, I saw Jen’s comment and I was going to tell you to not worry about keeping the LL’s longer until you could get your hands on the (1st) book and read them in order! And if you are interested after reading the series I have the 4th book so please let me know if you want to read it too. In that book she straightens out that whole mixed up family!
Now, I’m off to do some shopping (books of course!) and then to check on my little doggie “nephew” (LOL!)–I’ll check back this afternoon to see what mischief you’re up to!:)
And yes, I will look forward to ogling the ‘eye candy’, but as you know, I always know where to find some of that!

Ride ‘em cowboy!
Where are all the cowboys? Right there! Yum. Ok so I wanted to say Hi Laura and I didn’t forget. I will check in from time to time and if I think of anything to ask. I wanted to ask if you’d read anything by Lori Handeland before. I got an ARC of her latest book yesterday, “Any given Doomsday”. I read the prequel to it and besides seeming a little heavy with the inside joking (you know like when you make little quips between characters ot the characters think something and you lose thier train of thought). Anyhow, I haven’t gottent to read TAKE ME or NIGHT’S PROMISE I think it was. I started one by the vampire author and couldn’t get into it. I’ll have to check on which one, lol, I can’t think straight, haven’t even had coffee yet. Have fun with your chat!

Oh, good. Then I won’t worry about keeping them a few weeks longer. I meant to ask you about that. So now you are reading my mind. Yay! Dear Goddess, I need all the help I can get with that (grin). Yes, I would love to read the 4th book, so you can drop that in the box too. And I’m so glad you liked that one. As you know the comments on the Purvs about it yesterday were pro and con. Thanks so much!
Ha! I did some book shopping too. I had to dash out to the post office and check my mail. But I also needed to stop by Waldenbooks and see if they had ordered in more copies of my novels for the signing on the 4th, because so many had sold I knew we wouldn’t have enough by then. Also to tell Yancy (the manager) the proof of the next one “Call of the Witches,” is on its way to me at this moment. So he should be able to order it in time for the booksigning as well, since some of my readers were getting rather aggressive with him last time, demanding it be at this October booksigning. Seriously, they were. And you know who you are! LOL
Plus, I had a coupon for one book. But when I walked in Yancy gave me one for $5.00 off if I buy $35. Yikes! Don’t give me something like that! I’ll dash over to their fabulous erotica section and scoop up $35 within minutes (naughty grin). Which I did.
Plus, I bought the book I had gone in there to buy anyway. The famous dangly parts book “Tickle His Pickle: Your Hands-On Guide to Penis Pleasing.” I first heard about this book in “Acheron” by Sherilyn Kenyon. No kidding. Then when I was in the bookstore last week, they showed me where they keep all the sex books (on a shelf turned toward the cash register so no one can see them…an interesting sales strategy for sure). And I discovered the pickle book is real. Eureka! Have I mentioned how much I love Yancy? Well, I do. When I came in this morning the shelf was empty, and I screamed in a panic. But they quickly assured me that Yancy had moved them to a real bookshelf that is not hidden now, so I was able to buy my pickle book after all. Whew!
And I also bought one by Lacy Danes (”Animal Lust”). I really like her erotica novels. I also bought an erotica anthology that Lindsay said reminded her of me the first time she saw the title…..”Damned, Delicious, and Dangerous.” Gee, I wonder why? ROFL
Glad you are enjoying my cowboy eye-candy! And, yes, you are the “Queen of Hunky Links” for sure. Ladies, if you want to know where to find pics of all the yummy guys on the web, contact Auntee. She keeps me supplied with eye candy, and she is the one who found the gorgeous pic of the guy who looks like my character Wynn. She calls him Mr. Black Leather Pants. I just call him “dinner.” Oops! No, I haven’t read any novels by Lori Handeland. I did read “Night’s Promise” by Sandy Lynn. But it just didn’t work for me.
Who is the vampire author you are talking about? I have read a bunch of good vampy novels and can steer you in a good direction with those. Let me know after you fuel your cells with some coffee. LOL

Okaaaaaay. Uber 101 is now in session. *wicked grin*
1.) What is Uber?
Hmm. I always say all Uber-Alphas had to be Vikings in a past life, ya know? Think Clint Eastwood as “Dirty Harry” and that is an Uber. These are not touchy-feely, romantic, sweet guys. They don’t care about what you are feeling or thinking, so don’t waste your time trying to tell them. They are aggressive, bossy (but only if you actually listen to them *grin*), they growl a LOT, and they don’t like people. You could overdose on testosterone around these guys for sure. They think their way is the way, they tend shoot first and ask questions later. Yup, sounds like a Viking, doesn’t it? They are really good at search and destroy missions (especially the destroy part). ROFL
2.) How do you identify one?
I think I kinda answered that. But I do want to add they eat Beta men for breakfast (they think any man who is actually “nice” is a wimp). So if you are an Alpha woman you are going to irritate the daylights out of an Uber and end up fighting with him all the time. If you are a Beta woman you’re just too sweet and happy, and Ubers will have you in tears all the time, because the meanest things come out of an Uber’s mouth. Thing is Ubers never listen to what they say, so they have no idea they just squashed you like a bug with their words. Unfortunately, Ubers never apologize, so you are on your own with that one. Gammas might have the patience to be involved with an Uber. But the truth is Alpha, Beta, and Gamma women find Uber-Alpha men REALLLLLY irritating. However, Omegas (like me) find them hysterically funny. That “King of the World” complex Ubers suffer from just cracks us up. It’s like, what planet did you come from, dude?!! And, yes, Omegas do say that to them all the time (thus, all the growling Ubers do around us…ROFL).
3.) How do I get one???
You’re probably wondering what Ubers are good for? Well, they are very loyal, protective, strong, and dependable. An Uber will always come through for you. No matter what. They are “Knights in Shining Armor” for sure. Many athletes and ex-athletes are Ubers. Ubers are HIGHLY competitive. Ya know, the quarterback of the football team and the stars of the basketball team in high school and college. Those are Ubers. Lifeguards too. Same with career military people and policemen, lots of Ubers there. You can find Ubers at sports events (usually participating) or at the gym. They tend to be really vain about their appearance, which means they age well since they are always trying to look good (thus, the gym). Especially since they think they are more handsome than most people. See? Aren’t they a hoot?!!! They just crack me up!
Hope this helps. Now what kind of woman are you? Beta, Gamma, Alpha, or Omega???? Let me know, then I’ll let you know if an Uber will find you irresistible or will squash you like a bug. *I’m laughing like crazy here*

Laura: It was Night’s Promise I dimissed, lol. I “reviewed” it just now on GR. I have another Sandy Lynn novel I’ll read sometime. Just b/c I didn’t like the first one doesn’t mean I’ll give up on her.
The “vampy” or vamp themed novels I’ve read and liked are L A Banks vampire huntress series (still reading) Sherrilyn Kenyon (SR, although I am just about done next is ACHERON yay!), Alyssa Day (SR, I mentioned to you about this the LHYG may be in one of this books, lol. I’d send it to you in the next box.), Keri Arthur (SR, my goodness her series just keeps adding! Did you ever get around to reading it? I know your into erotica but it’s a really good and steamy PNR. Quinn is the sexiest damn vampire ever. I think he is described as having dark hair and eyes but I keep seeing him like Spike from Buffy, and I don’t even like him or that show, lol. He’s the only vampire I can think of I guess. I think that’s about all the vamp books I’ve read (and liked) lately, In erotica who are the better writers (besides you, hehe, I am going to get your book just so you know)?

It takes a brave lady to go up to the counter and buy THAT book! Can you imagine the looks you’d get? Did you get that ‘look’, Laura? ;D Of course, they know you in that store–I want to see you buy that in a store where they don’t know you! LOL!
Now, you must blog about that book–I’m sure there will be lots of ‘useful’ info in there! Just wait until your Uber sees that book! Ha-ha!

I just saw your review, Kenjii, and I agree. I thought it was rather amateur. Here’s what I said in my 3-star review…”This PNR novel was like vegetable soup to me….lots of chopped up bits of tasty stuff all jumbled up. That works for soup, but not so much for a novel.”
I did read the second one in the series (”Kiss and Tell”) and loved the first half of it. I was going to give it 5 stars, and then it kinda fell apart at the end. Got beyond predictable, so it just bored me to tears. I think Sandy Lynn may be one of those authors who gets better with each book as she works out kinks in her plotting, etc.
You will love “Acheron.” Did you see I mentioned the pickle book in one of the comments in this blog chat? It’s in Acheron. Tabitha sells it in her sex shop. What a hoot! Anyway, the ending in Acheron is soooooo wonderful. You will just love it! But you already know how brutal the first part is, right?
I have the Keri Arthur books ready to read next. I’m looking forward to reading them.

If you are talking erotica I love Emma Holly’s Demon series. “Demon’s Fire,” the third novel in that series is my all-time fav erotica novel. Otherwise, I am crazy about Opal Carew (”Swing”) and Lacy Alexander (”Seven Nights of Sin” and “Voyeur”). Really, really good stuff.

sorry, it’s been a busy week, and I haven’t done as much reading or GR browsing as I would like, but it’s Friday – yippee! 
woo hoo! I especially loved that first post – thank you, thank you, wet cowboy is the way to go! Ok, so I scrolled down all the comments and saw the Tickle His Pickle talk…when it was mentioned in Acheron’s book, I got a really good laugh because I own the counterpart to that book: Tickle Her Fancy. I got it at one of those sex parties where your girlfriend gets a percentage of all the sales and does “demonstrations” with the products *fun times* Well, it’s about self-pleasure for women, or helping men please their women. I’m afraid I never actually read it cover to cover, but I keep it in my underwear drawer. I will take a closer look and report back this weekend 
Call of the Witches: it’s time again! hooray! It’s available right? You know I don’t trust the sticky-fingered people in my neighborhood, so I’m going to need a “special” delivery of another personalized book – naughty, of course
By way of explanation to everyone else, I ordered “What Witches Want” twice, because someone opened my first package, saw that it was a book and not some pricey high-end item, then threw it behind my house where it sat for days collected rain and dirt. Even though you have the ability to never take them as seriously as they take themselves, and you find all their bossiness hysterically funny. Not to mention their view of the world. Comedy club stuff for sure. Yes, you will get the eat-dog-poop-and-die look as often as I do when you bend over laughing at something they have said. But it is soooooo worth it.
Isn’t it amazing Ubers fall for the only kind of woman who won’t give them the glory they feel is their birth right? Just cracks me up. Yes, the Goddess does have a sense of humor. *wicked grin*

No, I did get that “look” because when I saw the empty shelf I stood in the middle of the store and screamed, “Where is the pickle book…I WANT it!!!” Yup, that’s just what I did.
There were only guys working in the store today, including Yancy. So they all checked me out, and we had quite a “pickle” discussion. Yancy did blush when I said I wanted the pickle book for “research.” He forgets I also write erotica, because he can only carry my PNR novels. He thought I wanted it for research on the Uber. Ha! Of course he will reap the “benefits” of all my research. What a lucky Uber!!!
Okay, I admit it. I do love to make men blush. Must be the exhibitionist in me. *wicked grin*
Actually, I would have no problem buying that book in a store where they didn’t know me. Remember, I’m the one who takes the erotica novel with the most outrageous cover to my dentist’s office just so he can hoot about it. Exhibitionists love this kind of “public” thing. Don’t tempt me, Auntee!
See? Aren’t you glad I have no plans to move to PA and corrupt you? Too bad, really. We would just laugh ourselves silly if I did. Maybe one day…..
Guess what? The Uber just called me from Charleston. Seems one of his best buddies (who will be at the wedding) has read my blog and doesn’t think I am in lust with the Uber. He thinks I am making it all up. My, oh my, am I going to have fun at that wedding or WHAT?! That’s like waving catnip in front of a cat. Love it!!!

I also already read Twin Fantasies by Opal Carew thanks to you! I am inching ever closer on the wait list with What Witches Want. I am going to end up buying the other books, lol, I just know it. I’ve been on the WL for What Witches Want I think I can wait a bit more, but after reading the excerpt on Dray, hehe, I have to have him!

Hi, Mahlet!!
You know they get all this Alpha stuff for men from wolf packs, right? Well, the energy of an Omega is healing energy. All wolf packs value an Omega above all other wolves, because she is the one who can keep the Alphas calm. There are more Betas, Alphas, Uber-Alphas, and Gammas out there than there are Omegas in the human population as well as the wolf population. So they are rare and valuable. And not all wolf packs are fortunate to have them, which means the Ubers and Alphas are always fighting and killing each other.
I am also an Empath, which is a healer. So maybe that is why I do so well with an Uber-Alpha. I am able to neutralize all that aggressive Uber energy and just laugh it off (much to his dismay). Whereas, Ubers would make anyone else mad as fire or in tears. Who knows?
Here is the way it goes:
1.) Alphas: aggressive, intense, action-oriented people
2.) Betas: nice, sweet, nothing bothers them, always happy
3.) Gammas: part Alpha, part Beta
4.) Omegas: healers, nice, sweet, nothing bothers them, always happy

It’s pretty hilarious. For the pictures, it has gingerbread cookies postioned in the kama sutra positions. It’s very amusing and funny. I gave to Hubby one year as a gift and he got a kick out of it and shared it with all his friends. You should take a look at it…amazon has one of their search inside buttons on it. Blondie…ahhh…as in Donnie. Love that guy! Yeah, my publisher has let me get away with tons more sex and heat in “Call of the Witches.” You will love it. The first sex scene starts on page 43. I kid you not. And it is a scorcher!
In fact I pushed the sex in this novel all the way to the limit, meaning any more sex in it, and it would be classified erotica. That’s because the sex scenes in “Call of the Witches” are very romantic, erotic, and graphic. There just aren’t as many as you would find in an erotica novel, so it is still clasified as paranormal romamnce.
Am I having fun with this series or what?!!! Although my publisher/editor said it made him terribly HORNY while he was editing it. Ha! Just what I wanted to hear, ya know? So get ready with that cold drink. Trust me. You’ll need it for Blaine. Whew! *naughty grin*

Great question!! As you know a Wiccan doesn’t choose her Patron Goddess. You are chosen. When I first became a Wiccan, the Earth Mother was my Patron Goddess. Then a few years later she handed me over to Nut. Then Nut gave me to Isis. Then Isis gave me to Saint Mary (which Pagans consider a Goddess). Then Mary gave me to Bast, where I have happily remained ever since. The process took about ten years. Each Patron Goddess taught me something that would prepare me for Bast, who is the one I was meant to remain with. So it was a cool learning experience.
And Bast is perfect for me. I am very much aligned with the Egyptian pantheon in this lifetime. And Bast is the “Goddess of Sensual Delights.” In a past life 2500 years ago I was a Priestess in the temples of Bast. And we all know about the orgies that took place in those temples. Yowza! So you could say it is an example of what goes around comes around. *lusty smile*
Yes, your Patron Goddess could be happy to lead you to your Uber. Who is your Patron Goddess? I might be able to make a suggestion that would help the process along.

I’d define myself Omega. At church when someone asks for healing prayer and we reach out to them my left hand will get warm or if I think about someone needing healing that will happen. I can pray for people on my prayer list and feel the warmth, I can do it online. I once had a lady tell me my touch is like a warm fire, but I never connected it to healing until a Pastor revealed to me that I have that power and she magnified it by prayer and her touch.

Okay, I’ve got it. Brigid is called the Triple Goddess. Not because of the usual meaning (Maiden, Mother, Crone), but for her three talents (fire of the hearth, fire of the forge, fire of inspiration).
When she is in the first form, she is Brigid, the “Fire of the Hearth.” In that stage she is the Goddess of fertility, family, childbirth, and healing. Call on her in this goddess form to help you find the perfect Uber for you, and she will. She has to, really, because she can’t carry forth her energy in this Hearth form if you don’t have a mate, right?
Cast your spells and pray to her at her altar in your home as the “Goddess of the Fire of the Hearth.” You’ll will be amazed how fast your Uber comes into your life when you do that.

Sorry you missed it. And we ended up chatting for 11 hours. Amazing!
I just came back from a wedding in Charleston with the Uber, and lots of pics were taken of us. I should be receiving some in the next week or two, and when I do I will post one. If not I’ll have G.L’s husband take one of the Uber at the next booksigning in two weeks.
Don’t worry! Eventually, I’ll get a pic of him up. As you can tell he tends to growl at cameras (grin), so there aren’t any recent ones of him I can use. But I am “on the job” now that I have your request. Big fun!
