My 2008 Naughty Holiday Card is in the Mail!!
That’s right. I mailed my naughty holiday card on Monday. Big fun! And they started arriving in Columbia mailboxes yesterday, so you should be receiving yours in the next few days, no matter where you live in the US. The cards I mailed overseas will take a bit longer, but they’re on the way. 
When the Uber came home last night I was backing up my work for the day on DVD. I followed him into the bedroom and put an innocent look on my face before asking, "Did you get my holiday card?" For those of you who haven’t heard, I mail one to the Uber every year. I know. I love the shock effect. *wicked grin*
"Jesus Pete!" he screams, waving the card at me. "Everyone’s going to think I’m married to a slut!" I smile (I’m loving this, can you tell? *LOL*). "Duh," I respond, "who doesn’t know that?!" He narrows his eyes and growls. "Please tell me you didn’t send this card to anyone else." I’m smiling so big now my face might crack, and I reply, "Just to my best customers, and everyone around the world who requested it." He groans and shakes his head.
"And it was a big hit at my booksigning last Saturday, too," I add. His jaw drops. "You gave those cards to people at the bookstore?!" he shouts. Now he’s got all the signs of going into shock. "Don’t worry," I reply, laughing because I just can’t hold it in any longer. "Everyone loved it. Really."
He holds up the card and waves it at me again. "This is like reading porn," he growls.
"I know," I respond cheerfully. "Perfect for an erotica novelist, don’t ya think?" He blinks and looks at me like I’m speaking French. "Oh, by the way," I continue, now that I’m on a roll. "I mailed one to Gus and Trisha too." They’re his best friends in Charleston. "No," he says. "You didn’t!"
I shrug. "Not my fault," I reply. "Trisha loved the pickle book I brought to the wedding in September. She’ll get a hoot out of this card."
He gives me that I-can’t-believe-I-married-this-woman look. Then he hangs his head in defeat. But he’s grinning. I can see it. Okay, I torment the daylights out of the man. But what can I say? He obviously loves every minute of it. *naughty grin*

LMAO!! Jason & I loved it!! I was giggling when I read it. But then again I had a weird day yesterday! (Read my latest blog & you’ll find out!) Try not to give the Uber a heart attack now…though I can hardly believe he has to question whether you sent it out to other people, I have not known you as long as he is and I figured it was going around the world to all you nearest and dearest

I’m so glad you liked it! I thought it was a good one this year, too. Every year the “format” is different, depending on how long my naughty ditty is. Sometimes it’s a card-card, sometimes a postcard, sometimes a fold-over card like this year’s.
Yeah, I know. The Uber just doesn’t “get” me, does he? Bless his heart….literally. ROFL

Blimey that was quick to say I’m way the hell over the other side of the pond! I love it! Nearly inhaled my mug of tea when reading it…funny as hell as well as sexy, oh yes indeedy.
Now all I have to do is find you one. Doubt I’ll find a card as clever, funny and sexy as that though.
And no, I don’t have a vacuum cleaner. Laminated floors…but am sick to death of sweeping up hair of Kevin (my dog before anyone asks and no I didn’t choose his name) twice a week. I’m taking the equivalent of his entire body weight here. So am seriously contemplating buying one.
Officially that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it. Unofficially? The idea of getting some erm good vibes appeals hugely…

Thanks, Melissa! It makes my day you enjoy my daily postings. And I wish I could say I was tied to the bed. And I know a couple of my harem guys who would jump at the chance to do just that. Yummy! But I digress… *wicked grin*
Instead I got slam-dunked with a nasty case of bronchitis on Tuesday afternoon, so my brain has been mush for the last two days with all the meds. I even scared the man at the post office yesterday with a barky coughing attack. Good thing it happened after I told him what stamps I wanted, because I sure couldn’t get enough air in my mungy lungs to say anything after that. LOL
But even though I ended up working 14 hours yesterday on computer, I slept well last night, and I am recovering quickly today, so I’ll have another naughty post for everyone tomorrow for the weekend. It will be nice to be back to my regular schedule again at LJ.
And nice to be able to breathe again. Can’t forget that.
