My Naughty Holiday Card
This has been such a busy year! When I meet my next book deadline this month I will have finished five books this year. Plus, I picked up another publisher this year. Whew! It’s no wonder things have been piling up around here, not to mention my house is in dire need of a deep cleaning. Oh, well…
Same goes for the rapidly approaching holidays. Every year I create a special holiday card for my readers/fans/friends. I’ve been so slammed with this deadline I haven’t had a chance to think about it this year. But as I was lying on the acupuncture table yesterday morning with needles all over me, I designed my 2008 holiday card in my mind, which as you can imagine is going to be deliciously wicked this year. *lusty smile*
So if you’d like to receive it and you aren’t on my list (meaning you didn’t get one from me last year), send me your mailing address, and I’ll mail one to you (they usually go out the first week in December). Doesn’t matter where you live in the world. Just email your mailing address to laurastamps@mindspring.com and I’ll put you on the list.
Okay, get ready for my blog post tomorrow. I’ve had several requests for a Naughty Meme. Never one to disappoint my readers (wicked grin), I’ve created a terribly naughty one that will crack you up. I’ll post it tomorrow. Lusty fun for sure!
xoxo

As a Wiccan Witch, how do you and your husband celebrate the winter holidays? Christmas is my favorite time of year!

The holiday season always intrigues me, especially since I work at a post shop over that period. People are either all, “I WANT IT DONE AND I WANT IT DONE NOW!” or they go, “Eh, doesn’t matter if it’s on time or not…it’s the thought that counts.”
The CapsLock!People always scare the weebers out of me, particularly when I have to inform them that no, I’m not kidding the postage will cost more than the thing they’re sending. Usually though, the males are much nicer about it, thank goodness. This may/may not be because I deliberately go all big-eyed helpless, and they don’t want to make me cry by yelling at me. It’s a nasty tactic, but whatever gets me through the day, right?

Yeah, I remember how much you like Christmas.
What we do is open half the gifts on Yule and then the other half on Christmas, since the Uber isn’t Pagan. He calls himself Christian, but only because he grew up in the Christian church. He is not a practicing Christian by any stretch of the imagination. Actually, he is just barely spiritual. Which is cool for him. I have always believed everyone is exactly where they need to be on their path at the moment.
What kind of Pagan tweaks do you plan to add to your holidays this year?

Hey, I use “the distressed female” ploy all the time with nasty Alphas. Works great, and that’s all I care about. So more power to you!
The holidays in the USA always amaze me, because the stress level is so HIGH. It’s like rushing around trying to get gifts, totally stressing over family coming in for the holidays, masses of people sick with a variety of illnesses in Janaury. And they wonder why? Duh!
My fav part of the holidays are the cards. Simple, fun, and a way to show you care without going bonkers on everyone, ya know?

LoL. I don’t limit the big-eyed innocent act for nasty alphas, I do that to everybody. And also it’s great for getting the males in the post office to carry the really heavy parcels for me.
Buying presents = Massive fun. Buying presents on a budget = Not so fun.

Ha! I can relate. I’m so overwhelmed with the holidays this year and this last book deadline that I took the easy way out and finished 99% of my Christmas shopping a few days ago. I decided to make my life easy and went out and bought a copy of my latest novel “Call of the Witches” for everyone on my Christmas list, except the Uber (who read the manuscript before it was published).
Whew! I’m feeling much better now. *grin*
