Some of My Fav Erotica Novels
Since I read a LOT of erotica every year, readers often ask me about my favs. So I thought I’d talk about some of my fav authors and series in my blog post today.
Oh, and don’t worry. For those of you who’ve been following my posts this week, Wes DID give it up last night. I’ll tell you all about it on Thursday. *wicked grin*
Okay, back to books. My fav erotica novelist has got to be Emma Holly. No doubt about it. I’ve read all her stand-alone erotica novels and series, but my fav is her “Demon Series.” So far there are three novellas in anthologies and three novels in this series. The novels are my fav, so I’ll list them in order here:
1.) Demon’s Daughter
2.) Prince of Ice
3.) Demon’s Fire
“Prince of Ice” and “Demon’s Fire” flow seamlessly into each other, so they read like Part 1 and Part 2 of the same story. Believe it or not, “Demon’s Fire” is actually my fav erotica novel of all time. It’s awesome! I fell so hard for Prince Pahndir, the sexy Yama prince, that I still haven’t recovered. With his yummy bod, and long silky waist-length black hair, Pahndir could bang me like a screen door in a hurricane ANY DAY. No, I’m not kidding. *horny grin*
My next fav erotica author is Lora Leigh. I have read most of her series, but my fav is “Bound Hearts,” her erotica ménage series. The first four novels in this series were published by Ellora’s Cave. They’re good, and they give you needed background info on the characters. But when she switched publishers a few years ago to St. Martin’s Griffin the novels in this series climbed to outstanding heights. Those novels are:
5.) Forbidden Pleasure
6.) Wicked Pleasure
7.) Only Pleasure
8.) Guilty Pleasure (coming in Jan. 2010)
“Wicked Pleasure” and “Only Pleasure” read like Part 1 and Part 2 of the same story. They tell the tale of the sexy Falladay twins, Cam and Chase. My, oh my, I fell hard for Cam in “Wicked Pleasure.” Love these novels!
My next fav series is what is commonly called the “Mona Lisa” series by Sunny. Some think of it as PNR (paranormal romance). Others call it erotica. Whatever. All I can say is it’s HOT! And Sunny’s heroes (Gryphon, Halcyon, and Dontaine) are total panty-melts. Technically this series is called ” The Monere: Children of the Moon,” and it looks like this:
1.) Mona Lisa Awakening
2.) Over the Moon (anthology)
3.) Mona Lisa Blossoming
4.) On the Prowl (anthology)
5.) Mona Lisa Craving
6.) Mona Lisa Darkening
There are also some stand-alone erotica novels I adore. “Swing” by Opal Carew is one of my top 5 favs, and the best novel she has written IMO. Yeah, it’s about swinging and the lifestyle.
“Seven Nights of Sin” by Lacey Alexander is also in my top 5 favs. Her hero Damon Andros with his long black hair, leather pants, and raging libido is what wet dreams are made of. I’ll never forget that sizzling sex scene in the broom closet at a night club. YOWZA! *lusty grin*
One of my fav ménage novels is “Colters’ Woman” by Maya Banks. This is also my fav of her novels, since she has moved into painfully intense BDSM in recent years, and that’s not my kink. But “Colter’s Woman” is a true masterpiece IMO. A classic about a m/m/f/m ménage with three hunky cowboy brothers. Yummmmmmy!
Last but not least is Charlene Teglia. Her novels are hit and miss for me because she writes erotica in all genres. Some of those genres are my cuppa, and some aren’t. But I’ll tell you what. When she hits the mark with me, all I can say is WOW! These are my favs of hers:
1.) Wild Wild West
2.) Satisfaction Guaranteed
3.) The Gripping Beast (a classic in erotica)
Of course, all of these novels are on my Keeper Shelf, and I’ve read them several times. Like I said, I read erotica all year, and you know how it is if you read a lot. Every once in a while you’re gonna go through a period where you read 4-5 novels in a row that just don’t click for you. I don’t know about you, but when that happens to me I’m desperate for a good read. So I grab one of these fabulous novels from my Keeper Shelf, and soon I’m in erotica nirvana. Ahhhhh…..! No matter how often I read them they’re always a 5-star experience and just what I needed.
So if you’re looking for great erotica, give some of these awesome novels and series a try. Who knows? You might end up loving them as much as I do.

I haven't read many of those books, but I have read "Satisfaction Guaranteed" by Charlene Teglia, and I loved it! I also read "Wicked Pleasure", and that is one steamy novel! Mmmmmmmm…..

Wonderful, aren't they? Read "Only Pleasure" next. It tells Chase's story and you get a glimpse of how Cam is doing now that he has allowed himself to be loved. "Guilty Pleasure" coming out in January is Khalid's story. Khalid is Chase's and Ian's third at the club. Can't wait!!

I also read the "Naughti Boy" series by Lora Leigh. Have you read them? They are really good as well.

I have. I didn't like the first two with Rowdy and Dawg. But I always loved Natches, so I enjoyed "Nauti Dreams." However Alex and "Nauti Intentions" was awesome. I said in my review of that one on Goodreads that Leigh had reached the same level of quality in that 4th novel that she has with the Bound Hearts series. The funny thing is I had thought I would quit that series because there are only 3 Nauti boys. But I'm glad I didn't because "Nauti Intentions" was the best yet!!

I realy like Lora Leighs books, and I agree Natches is HOT. I like him, and would not mind having him all to my self

I will look in to the other authers, thanks for sharing. I love to read erotica and do it year round. To the point that when I want something from my husband and he not up for it, he tells me to go read my books. Well that does not help it just makes me want more

I think you will love those authors! You might also like my latest novel "Call of the Witches." I don't know if you saw this but I was talking to someone on Facebook today and I mentioned that some of my fans said that novel of mine reminded them of Lora Leigh's and Emma Holly's books, which totally flattered me. And my sizzling hot erotica series "The Rune Witch" isn't even published yet, but will be soon. Talk about smoking hot! Love it!

One of my fav's is called She's on Top by Susan Lyons. You guys should read it! It is a romantic erotica novel and the sex scenes are soooooo steamy!
