I don’t know if you’ve seen the comments on this blog or at Facebook, but my booksigning on Saturday was a HUGE success! Local readers/fans read in the December issue of my newsletter that it was my last booksigning, and they came out in force to buy my novels for themselves and as gifts for friends. Others came out just to tell me how much they loved the novels.

Consequently, I sold out in an hour and a half. Wow! Yeah, I definitely felt the love on Saturday. Thanks, everyone…you are the BEST!!

Then, as I was leaving the mall, I discovered the lingerie department at Dillard’s was having its semi-annual lingerie sale.

Uh-oh.

I didn’t have time to stop on Saturday, but planned to go back this week. Why? Because (as you all know) I’m a trashy lingerie addict! And when I hit a big sale I like to take my time and look at EVERYTHING.

Then on Sunday night I was up until midnight, talking with a producer friend of mine about a photo shoot Alex and Rick are setting up for me with a glamour photographer next week. They want a bunch of sexy new pics of me for the novels and PR.

My friend has a lot of experience with shoots like this, so he helped me go through my wardrobe and pick out items we could put together in sexy outfits.

Of course, the challenge is Wes. He doesn’t mind me taking panty shots all by myself in my bathroom with my cell phone camera. But no way is he gonna let a photographer and other people see me in my panties in real life. LOL

So my friend and I had great fun putting together sexy outfits from my lingerie and street clothes that wouldn’t freak Wes out.

You know what this means, right? I now had a “professional” excuse to hit the lingerie sale at Dillard’s and indulge my addiction.

Alrightyyyyy! So I dashed over there Monday afternoon.

OMGoddess! You would have been so proud of me! I snagged two pairs of decadent hot pink lace panties marked down to $2.99 and $3.99. As well as several pairs of wicked black lace thigh-high stockings.

Best of all I found a gorgeous leopard-print short robe. It’s sooooo trashy. I just love it! It’s completely sheer, soft as a scarf, and was marked down from $50.00 to $38.00. It’s gonna look soooooo good with some of those outfits for the photo shoot next week, not to mention I’ve been wanting one for years and haven’t been able to find one I liked at a good price.

Driving back to my office, I realized there was a realllly short skirt I should get as well. It would look totally fab with the thigh-high stockings. You know what this means, right? I’ve got another professional excuse to go back and buy more.

As soon as I buy a digital camera (yes, Rick and Alex want me to get one of those, too) I’ll post pics on this site of my wicked panty purchases.

I know. I have waaaaay too much fun…! *trashy grin*

Happy New Year! Hope it’s an awesome one for all of you. My 2010 is already packed with all kinds of good stuff, so I’m totally looking forward to it.

Okay, my last booksigning is coming up this Saturday, January 2, from 1:00pm – 4:00pm at Waldenbooks in Columbiana Center Mall (Harbison area), Columbia, South Carolina. Waldenbooks is located inside the mall, two stores down from Dillard’s department store.

That’s right. This store is closing the end of the month, and my agent is pulling my books out of bookstores in the next few weeks. So this is your last chance to come to one of my booksignings.

I’ll have plenty of copies of my latest erotic romance, “Call of the Witches: Book Three of the Witchery Series,” as well as the first two novels in this popular trilogy. Plus, all books in the store (including mine) have been marked down 30% for their Going Out of Business Sale. Yay!

As usual, we’ll be having a wicked time, talking about all kinds of fun stuff, but mostly yummy guys and sex (is there anything else?). And I promise NOT to behave myself. Gee, what a surprise… LOL

Also, I’ll be wearing one of my naughty t-shirts. Ya know, the ones I painted myself and then posted pics of on Facebook.

Short post today. I just wanted to let everyone know my next booksigning is coming up tomorrow, May 2, from 1:00pm – 4:00pm at Waldenbooks in Columbiana Center Mall (Harbison area), Columbia, South Carolina. Waldenbooks is located inside the mall, two stores down from Dillard’s department store.

I’ll have lots of copies of my latest erotic romance, "Call of the Witches: Book Three of the Witchery Series," as well as the first two novels in this popular trilogy. Because I sold out at my last booksigning in March, the manager ordered a ton of books for this booksigning. So there’ll be plenty of copies for everyone tomorrow. Yay!

As usual, we’ll be having a wicked time, talking about all kinds of fun stuff, but mostly yummy guys and sex (is there anything else? *naughty grin*). And I promise NOT to behave myself. No doubt about it! LOL

This is going to be a short post today. I’ve got a booksigning this afternoon from 1:00pm – 4:00pm at Waldenbooks in Columbiana Center mall (Harbison area), Columbia, South Carolina. Waldenbooks is located inside the mall, two stores down from Dillard’s department store.

I’ll have copies of my latest erotic romance, "Call of the Witches: Book Three of the Witchery Series," as well as the first two novels in this popular trilogy.

But supplies are limited at this particular booksigning, so come early if you’ve been planning to buy signed copies of these books. No kidding. I just found this out yesterday. It seems the stock the bookstore ordered for the signing won’t be in on time. But I do have copies of each book. Just not a lot of copies. So come early if you’re planning to attend.

As usual, we’ll be having a wicked time, talking about all kinds of fun stuff, but mostly yummy guys and sex (is there anything else? *lusty grin*). And I promise NOT to behave myself. No doubt about it! LOL

Okay, everyone! This is my last booksigning of the year. Amazing, I know (grin). Anyway, I’ll be signing the novels in my Witchery Series trilogy from 1:00pm – 4:00pm today at Waldenbooks, which is inside the mall, two stores down from Dillard’s Department store.

If you’ve been reading this series, you know it’s a paranormal romance novel series that becomes more erotic with each novel. Yowza! And I’ll have plenty of copies of the latest one in the trilogy, Call of the Witches, which is smokin’ HOT! *naughty grin*

My Last Booksigning of the Year

Hard to believe, isn’t it? Yeah, my last booksigning of the year is coming up the Saturday after Thanksgiving on November 29th in Columbia, South Carolina.

I’ll be signing my Witchery Series novels at Waldenbooks at Columbiana Center in the Harbison area from 1:00pm -4:00pm. I’ll have plenty of copies of all of three, especially the new one, Call of the Witches. That’s the latest one, and the third novel in this trilogy. Yup, it’s the one everyone’s been talking about. In this one you’ll meet the smokin’ HOT, verrrrrry sensuous Blaine Rutledge. Let me warn you. The sex in this novel is erotic and plentiful, and the heat level is high throughout. This is a very erotic paranormal romance. Don’t you love it?! *naughty grin*

The Queen of Sex

Halloween is actually the last Sabbat in the Wiccan year. Pagans call it Samhain and think of it as the last day in the calendar year.

Having said that, I hope you had a good one because my Samhain was totally insane! As you know G.L. Giles couldn’t do the booksigning with me last night at Waldenbooks, because she’s vacationing in Mexico at the moment. So I decided not to dress up in my "Sexy Witch" costume. Turns out I never could find a shirt to look good under that sheer black babydoll lingerie. Some things are just meant to be worn commando, I guess. And that babydoll is definitely one of them. So I threw on one of my pink girly shirts, some dark jeans, and boots, and headed out to the bookstore. Ya know, my usual booksigning outfit.

Columbiana Mall doesn’t do Halloween for the kids, but much to the merchants’ surprise they did last night. Suddenly by 5:30 little goblins and ghosties were pouring into the bookstore for candy. By then I’d already realized my bookbuyers and fans are NOT the Friday night crowd. Good thing to know, because I much prefer Saturday afternoon booksignings anyway. Yeah, that also means I cancelled the booksigning next Friday night (also set up by GL) on November 7. She can’t come, and I won’t be there either now.

Anyway, after the kids invaded the bookstore, I called it a night and left really early, like before 6:00pm. Then I buzzed the Uber’s blackberry and had him take me out to dinner. When we finish eating, Penny, one of the servers and a big fan of my novels, gives me a hug and says, "I told my friend the other day I know a famous person." Then she points to me and exclaims, "The Queen of Sex!" I start laughing, but the Uber rolls his eyes and moans like Oh-no-not-again. My other name in Columbia is "Porn Laura." He’s not fond of that one either.

I hustle him out of the restaurant into the parking lot, and as we walk to our car, he kids me about being "The Queen of Sex" now. I look up at the clear, dark sky and the waxing moon and say, "This day has been so bizarre, you know what I really want?" The Uber looks at me and replies, "What?" I shout, "Sex!…I need it!!" He grins and squeezes my hand, replying, "You’re a wild little thing, aren’t you?"

Two hours later I’m lying flat on my back in bed so sexually satisfied I can barely keep my eyes open. All I can do is purr. Yeah, Penny got it right. Somehow, someway, booksignings always end on a lusty note for the "Queen of Sex." Gotta love it, ya know?!! *wicked grin*

Booksigning Tonight….With some Changes! grin

That’s right. My booksigning at Waldenbooks is tonight. Big fun!! But there have been a few last minute changes.

First, G.L. Giles, the vampire author from Charleston, won’t be signing with me after all. From what I hear she’s on her way to Mexico at the moment for some needed R&R. Good for you G.L.! Hope you have a restful trip, soaking up lots of rays and enjoying a well-deserved vacation!!

Second, I’ve tweaked the hours of the booksigning and will only be there from 4:00pm – 7:00pm tonight (rather than until 9:00pm). G.L. originally set the hours for this booksigning and, being a vampy night owl, she loves late night booksignings. Not me. As my new harem buddy, Dave, so aptly puts it, I’m a Morning Glory. Really. One of those morning people who can’t think coherently after 8:00pm. Thus, the time change. LOL

So if you’re in Columbia, South Carolina, today, I’ll be at Waldenbooks at Columbiana Center in the Harbison area, signing my Witchery Series novels from 4:00pm -7:00pm.
