Wes and I had a sex date on Sunday afternoon. Because it’s the holidays, he’s been off since last Wednesday and won’t go back to work until January 4th. In the meantime, he’s been playing lots of golf. Afterwards he’s been spending time with his buds at his fav bar, watching sports and playing some of the game machines there.

I don’t know what Wes has done, but his buds like him a LOT these days. In fact they like him so much they’ve been buying him drinks. Never one to turn down a gift, Wes has been very “happy” during his holiday vacation.

Wes and I were on the way to the grocery store after lunch on Sunday when I got fed up with his cranky mood. I mean, the man had just spent three days in Santee playing great golf with his buddies. You’d think after a fun vacation he’d be in a relaxed, happy mood, right?

Wrong. He returned to Columbia on Saturday night a few hours after my booksigning. And all he’d done since then was complain about how tired he was.

Sunday afternoon I had a sex date with Wes. You know me. I was totally looking forward to it and READY to fuck! *horny grin*

But Wes had spent four days eating turkey sandwiches at his fav bar over the holidays. Of course, this wasn’t your normal turkey. Nah, this was one of those turkeys deep-fried in peanut oil, something people love to do down here in the Deep South (The Land of Strokes & High Blood Pressure). Oh, and he’d been drinking vodka with those sandwiches, too. Not what his A-Fib heart condition would consider the “ideal diet.” Not even close.

So Sunday afternoon his pulse was erratic. Gee, I’m shocked. Not!

Sunday morning I woke up absolutely exhausted. I think it was a combination of working through too many weekends (okay, guilty as charged *LOL*) and the insanely busy week I’d just survived with the poetry book giveaway, working on my naughty 2009 Holiday Card, and writing/mailing the November issue of my naughty newsletter.

Whatever. All I know is it kicked my ass!

I was so tired I was weepy (ladies, you know what I mean). And my fatigue got worse by the hour. In fact, when Wes and I went out to lunch I surprised him by canceling our sex date that afternoon. I did. Hard to believe, but true.

Wes and I continued our condom experiments during our sex date on Sunday afternoon. Now that we’ve got the technique mastered (Trojan Supra condoms, KY Liquibeads, and a dab of KY) we wanted to see what positions felt best.
