Anyway the hospital is about 10 minutes from my house. I got lost both times. What can I say? The good thing about people like me is we’re used to being lost, so we never stress over it. Wes does all my stressing for me. Needless to say, I’m not allowed to drive out of town because he knows he’ll never see me again. Or he’ll never survive the stress attack it would give him. Probably both. *wicked grin*

4) If I bought you a drink what would it be?

Spring water. I quit drinking alcoholic beverages 29 years ago. Not that it’s helped my terrible sense of direction, but….

I read erotica and nonfiction sex books. At the moment I’m reading Supersex by Trace Cox. Damn, this is a good book! In fact I noticed last night it’s starting to come apart at the spine. Hey, not my fault the awesome sex pics in it make me horny, ya know?

Yet I have published over 45 books in the last 23 years with numerous publishers, won lots of prestigious writing awards, including a ”Pulitzer Prize” nomination and seven “Pushcart Award” nominations. No kidding. Hey, I can be serious. Sometimes.

Yes, nine cats. I have been in feral cat rescue for 30+ years

14) Do you think clowns are cute or scary?

I think they’re boring.

15) If you could change one thing about how you look, what would it be?

Nothing. I like the way I look at 53, and I always feel like I’m 18, so being delusional definitely has its advantages. I’m very healthy, love to work out, jog 5-6 miles every week, eat organic vegetarian, have lots of energy, and my body is a roaring sex machine. What’s not to like?

If you’re wondering why my blog post is later than usual on this Saturday morning it’s because I decided to sleep in a little longer. This has been such a busy week! All good stuff, but still exhausting, so I decided to catch up on my beauty rest. Kinda. *naughty grin*

9.) Dancing is sex standing up. I said the very same thing the last time I went dancing in September. Now for the photo on this blog post. Don’t you LOVE it?!! This is one of the many awesome photos illustrating Supersex by Tracey Cox, the nonfiction sex book I bought last week. I’ve discovered all kinds of fascinating sex trivia in this one and will be doing a blog post about some of this cool stuff later on in the week. One of the reasons why I love Cox’s books so much is because of the outstanding photography of John Davis throughout. The man is simply amazing and mega-talented, don’t you think?

I especially adore all his photos in this sexual position because it reminds meso much of the Uber and I. In a blog post last week I mentioned the Uber is an ex-jock, who is still very active at 56, working out at the gym and playing golf every week. That means many times when he comes home in the evening he jumps in the shower first thing.

I’ve never been one to pass up a clean, sparkly man, ya know? So the minute the Uber steps out of the shower I usually jump his bones. Or I give it my best shot (naughty grin). Yeah, we have more sex in a standing position in the master bathroom than anywhere else in the house. In fact you could call that bathroom my own private den of iniquity. *wicked grin*

And speaking of the Uber, he is smoking HOT these days. Frisky doesn’t even begin to describe it. It’s just like I said last week. That trip to the hospital was more like a tune-up for him rather than a setback. As you know, his heart doctor put him on the low dose of high blood pressure meds. She also said he could have one vodka drink or two glasses of red wine every night with dinner. He is opting for red wine, the healthier choice, and trying to stay on a low fat diet. Interestingly enough, he can no longer tolerate caffeine, so he has switched to decaf coffee.

No doubt about it, these tweaks are working. YOWZA! We had one of our sex dates on Saturday afternoon, and all I can say is his libido and stamina are greatly improved. I thought I was tangling with a wild animal in the bathroom, and I’ve been smiling like a feral cat ever since. Yeah, I’m definitely looking forward to this "new phase" in the Uber’s life. The Uber’s Largest Sex Organ

I had major fun shopping yesterday. I’ve been looking for something black, lacy, and sheer (oh, how I love anything black and sheer!!) to finish up my sexy Witch costume for the booksigning on Halloween (Samhain). Couldn’t find anything at the mall on Monday, so I thought I’d try Target yesterday. No luck there either. When I walked out of Target I noticed TJ Maxx was two stores down. I rarely find anything there, but I thought I’d give it a shot. Bingo! I found a gorgeous black, lacy top on sale. Totally sheer and just purrrrrrfect for the outfit I have in mind. Of course, for the booksigning I plan to wear a silky shirt beneath it. But I’m thinking I’ll take it on a "solo" test drive with the Uber before then. Can’t let all that sheer fabric go to waste, ya know? Yeah, he’ll love it. *naughty grin*

Speaking of the Uber, I’ve been trying to get him to use visualization more often while I’m experimenting with new techniques from the pickle book (gotta love that book!). Let me stop right here and say I don’t believe this is an issue for women who read erotica and romance novels. Trust me. We have PLENTY of visuals to sexually stimulate our imaginations. Dear Goddess, all I have to do is look at the mini posters I printed out of my character Wynn (the ones hanging in my office that make the Uber snarl when he sees them), and I am good to go. Especially if I zero in on how well his tight leather pants fit. Yowza! Okay, I digress….

So you can imagine how shocked I was to learn the Uber doesn’t do this. I don’t even think visualization has occurred to him. In fact the man doesn’t even have many sexual fantasies. Can you see where I’m going with this? Oh, yeah. Time to create some "visuals" for the Uber to dwell on during playtime. Maybe I’ll start with that sheer back top I bought yesterday (*licks my lips*). My, oh my, am I going to have fun with this sexual fantasies thing, or what?!! *wicked grin*
